Natalie- ive just seen your post on the buffet thread- I cant believe how organised you and have already worked out how much in grams of everything you need. Im so impressed, I think even a week before the wedding my list would never be that precise.
oh reading that thread I did realise that I hadnt thought about Pate- if im having crusty bread etc I have to have pate! I know some people wont like it but I do- and thats what all the food im having is about! My mum was trying to insist she makes some quiches and wasnt impressed with my 'no im not having quiche as I cant stand it' answer! Im being generous and will get some egg sarnies made despite the fact I cant stand egg so I think thats more than enough of a compromise!!:rotfl:0 -
Emma the ring you like is the sort thing i quite like.

I think i would like diamonds all the way round but i think i have to be careful as my engagement ring has three diamonds and got small fingers!
Oh talking about eggs my OH will not kiss me for a week if i ever eat eggs-they are band in our house:rotfl:
Laura love all your pic - your rings look wonderful and the bowls are nice:)0 -
LauraR - lol okay - another blue stone wearer
It is very pretty!! And I bet the photo doesn't do the blueness justice at all! I think the different shades of blue for your bowls are better than if you had all the same colour. I think it adds to the appeal.
Emma - lol @ MrPinkPrincess wanting a ring for the ceremony but not wanting to wear it
As for my buffet - I really only started it to prove that I could do a bloomin good buffet for under £2 a head. (£1.50 a head last time I stuck it all into Tescos.com) I think I will add some sort of chicken nuggets/popcorn chicken things to my list, but other than that it's as it stands. I can't stand quiche either but I know they are generally liked by people and are quite filling - meaning I won't have to do too much of other things. Ewwwwwwwwww egg sandwiches - lol nope not doing them!! *gags*. And that's the same reason as why we're not having any crisps. MrD refuses to kiss me if he even thinks I've had crisps.lol and on my wedding day/party I certainly want some kisses!! One of the nicest pates I've ever had was from tescos - it was a mushroom one - just looked at tescos.com and I think it was the farmhouse with mushroom one. Mmmm used to go through a packet of that with some crusty bread... *drool*. Lol but I'm not doing pate for our buffet - too expensive lol.

LauraL- the 2nd ring that you have linked is my 2nd choice, (but in yellow gold) so Im hoping they have them both in for me to try. And the first ring you linked I already have a yellow gold ring just like that which I currently wear on right hand but will probably get put away once Im married, I think my oh got me that one for my 21st.
I hate egg- especially egg sandwiches as they stink, but I know most of my family (especially my nan) will moan if there isnt any!!
Hehe Natalie- I did wonder what MrDs crisps phobia was about!!0 -
i LOVE egg!!!! all but scrammbled but love egg sarnies they bast do them at my wedding.... without cress (i mean cress whats all that about lol)
those rings are lovely!
I cant wait to get mine on for good!!!0 -
Lol I agree - cress - waste of space!!
Ah yes MrD's crisp phobia thing. He is an odd ball for sure. He cannot stand the sight/smell/sound of crisps. It makes him feel like throwing up. I told you - odd ball :rotfl:. I don't really mind cause really I shouldn't eat them when I'm dieting (which I always am lol). But it certainly makes things fun when I like beef monster munch/steak mccoys - i.e. stinky stinky crisps that are hard to mask the smell of them after I've had them at lunch lol. He used to not like clingfilm either - in the way that some people hate cotton wool. But I have slowly weaned him off that - and he will not actually use clingfilm to wrap up opened packets etc. If I say made him a sandwich though and wrapped that up in clingfilm so it was touching the food I don't think he could be persuaded to eat it lol. Yep - odd ball!!
Well MrD's shoes should arrive today - I am going to work on getting a photo of our shoes togetherWill share it if I get the shot that I've got in my head!!
It'll be the first of many wedding photos!
I still haven't looked at making little doilies - although I suspect I may just use little squares of white baking parchment.
