We have finally had all our rsvps now too, including one that I am slightly GRRRR about but that's a story for the secret facebook group lol.
I'm annoyed at the minute because all the roads round here are blocked at the minute because of the olympic torch stuff, fgs I really can't see why people are so bothered? It's someone running with a piece of metal??? I don't agree with the olympics as it is and all the inconvenience is really p{55ing me off!
I did have something other than moaning to say lol but can't remember what it is! Haha never mind. Off to aquajog tonight, hopefully I can get there through the traffic...
I feel exactly the same!! I just don't get it at all. (you must be near me.. it was with us yesterday!)0 -
I'm in Leicester
Nope I can't fathom it lol
xThs signature is out of date because I'm too lazy to update it...0 -

I'll have a second hair trial next week and am going to the venue on the Thursday to drop stuff off, will also be making a few last-minute bits. But it'll be less hectic than here!!!
We go on HM 2 days after the wedding (2 weeks today) but are staying in a hotel on the wedding night and the Sunday night, so are just calling at our house to pick up the bags and going straight to the airport!! So I need EVERYTHING organised, packed etc by this Saturday...
Wow! You have alot to do. Just think of the lovely relaxation you can have on the honeymoon!
I came home to find my daughter who was bored has made some felt key rings for extra favors.0 -
 I knew my day was going too well! Went and picked my dress up, took it to the dry cleaners.... they advised me not to get it cleaned!! The suggested cleaning method is apparently banned in the country and the other suggested method probably wouldnt have done much but could have damanged the boning etc!! So I took it back to my mums and decided to try it on to see how noticeable the mark was- and it isnt!:) but
having tried it on it seemed fine, started walking in it and it is just a bit too long and im standing all over the netting!! I would either trip on it or rip it so my mum is going to speak with her friend to see if she can adjust the height, oh and to finish off the bad luck as my mum was doing up the buttons to have broken!! (I guess at least its happened today and not on the actual day!
SKS- the cardi is lovely- and I love your daughters dress.
Mel- how annoying about the traffic, we have had awful traffic where I live- good old council have closed one of the main roads into the city- and theres only 3 in total so at rush hour is was packed! And ive just read its going to be like it for 2 weeks!!0 -
Whoops- no idea how I managed to double post then!!0

Oh no!!! BUT at least you can deal with before the day. How annoying that you can't clean it but if you can't see the mark that's brill. Can you get more buttons? Perhaps get extra just in case! Big hugs x0 -

Oh no! but like FutureCooper said at least it's happened now. Have the buttons broken or just come off? I don't know what your dress is like but is it one you would wear a hoop or anything with to stop you tripping on it?0 -
Well you can see the mark, but its not that noticeable, and it should be hidden by my arm most of the time. Thanks for the hugs, its needed at the mo!! I will be buying lots of spare buttons!
i think im going to see what my mums friend says, if not I have seen some lovely shoes with a bigger heel!!:rotfl:0 -
Have you tried a hoop PinkPrincess? Mine really helps me walk. It may be that new shoes are called for anyway.
It's good you can't see the mark though. Can you get your dress steamed? That's what the bridal shop are doing to my sample dress.
OH and I just had a whirl around the kitchen to practise our first dance. We're both really unco-ordinated, but hopefully if we practice our shuffle a few times we'll not embarass ourselves too much on the day - 20 days away now!0
