our form was pretty rubbish too. not much space for anything. we were also given a book with 20 or so readings to choose from, and they were all terrible! so we chose our own and added it in. which reminds me, I need to phone them to make sure it was all ok!!

    Jobs done today:
    - arranged with venue to go in on Sunday to go over final details
    - ordered MoH's sash
    - first coat of paint done on our wooden letters

Tonight I want to make the pens for the 'guestbook' now that my tape has finally arrived and order some tags for the favours.

Natalie- hope your skin clears up, Im sure it will.

I am so tired at the mo I look crap, plus I must be tasty as I have about 7 bites on my arm- this better not happen again closer tot eh wedding!!

    :T Yep, you tell him!

MrsDrink, go for tea tree oil for the beans and hopefully they'll soon disappear. Ignore the strapless dress article nonsense. It's just the blasted Daily Mail preying on people's insecurities to sell stuff. You looked fabulous in your last pictures, and now you'll just be somewhat svelter and still fabulous. :)

wanchai, how exciting about packing already - I might pop out for a few bits this weekend. I'm not planning on wearing much though! And what's the deal with sun tan lotion? Do you really have to buy new every year? two years? five years? Should I be chucking what I have (18mths old, kept in a cool dark cupboard) and buying more?

lovecake - I wasn't sure about some of the stuff on the form, but I just rang up and talked it over with the registrar office - they've been lovely both times I've phoned them.

I've got a real pain in my side, so no body balance tonight. Slightly paranoid about getting ill/something cropping up in the next 18 days () so trying to crack on with the wedding to-do list tonight.

I will!:D Im just hoping he goes on facebook soon! I think he wants to bring his new girlfriend who he has been with for 5 mins, the best man hasnt even asked if his girlfriend can come along in the evening and theyve been together about 7 months!

Babyboots- I hope your pain goes soon. I currently have a really sore throat, I so hope that by getting these things out the way now it will all be fine on the day!!

Meeting up with the dj tomorrow, I was starting to worry as he was ignoring me so phoned him and he said about tomorrow, so I need oh to get off his ps3 at some point so we can sort a few things out.

Oooh it's really happening!!!! I love JULY x

Natalie- I'm sure it's just nerves and you'll love the dress just because it's yours. I feel the same though. I'm not 100% sure i like mine. I mean I like the dress but not me in it. I feel a bit too old for playin bride some days.

Nonsense FutureCooper, you're exactly old enough and wise enough to have chosen a lovely man to marry

    Evening!!

I've printed the rest of my pics for my project and cut them out - am shattered! Also finally sat down with OH and decided what music to have for the ceremony, so will email the co-ordinator tomorrow.

I've done a little more packing for the honeymoon too.

Dress fitting in the morning whoop! :T

p.s. just heard that a bridal shop here was flooded during the torrential rain last Wednesday, £200,000 of dresses ruined! That's the shop where my 2nd choice dress was - OMG! If I'd ordered it, it would have been in there last week and got destroyed. Just goes to show - my decision must have been fate. Really feel for the brides affected though, wonder what happens if the dress can't be replaced in time for their wedding??? :(

I am starting to get proper excited again - although I'm still a bit frazzled over getting the DIY completed in time.
I am worried over my dress - having only ever tried 'it' on 3 times, the first when I placed the order and the sample was too big and full length; once when I was 12lbs heavier than I am now and i felt really bloated, short and frumpy; and once when my mum went to see how to tie me in. I'm actually quite scared that I'll put it on on the morning and think it's not right, that it doesn't suit me after all (and how daft but that thread the other day about strapless dresses didn't help!!) There is that little bit of doubt. It'd be different if it was a normal dress I could try on whenever I want. But three times in a year, isn't very many times!! Argh!

Oooh, I'm trying mine on again in the morning, the DM has finally shortened it! :D We'll compare notes afterwards lol. And you will be fab! As will you Mel! In fact, we all will be! :A

Sorry - that strapless thread was started by me but it wasn't intended to start arguments and cause upset. :o Hugs xxx

    OMG, the cheek! :rotfl:

I am really tired atm as well, three people at work have commented on how knackered I look in the last 2 days! Must get more sleep. :rotfl:

Good luck with your DJ tomorrow. :)

Has the 18mo stuff been opened? I would prob bin it if so and buy more, there are tons of cheap suncream deals on right now. :money: Hope you feel better tomorrow xx
