ARGHHHHHHH so annoyed!!

First thing i have had a problem with from Ebay. My place cards arrived today but three of the names are spekt wrong. I went back to check the message i originally sent the seller and they are right on there so i have messaged again now to see what i can do. Also told her that the names aren't very central on them all (haha im fussy)

What drives me mad is when people ask OH about the wedding, how the planning is going or if I've 'let' him be involved etc, and he gives the seemingly standard man answers of "I don't know" or "I'll just turn up" etc. :mad: It drives me mad because he DOES know everything about the wedding, and HAS been involved in all of it, making decisions with me and having opinions, but he seems to want to make out that he has done nothing? Which.. I wouldn't care about, but it makes me look like a controlling bridezilla who won't let him be involved which is the complete opposite. I'm being pretty darn relaxed about the whole day, and not pushy or anything, but people will think I am because he can't be bothered to answer their questions.. I mean, he's wearing shorts and a short sleeved shirt, that won't even be tucked in !!!!!!, I'm obviously not that crazy controlling! :rotfl:

I woke up so excited i could burst! I am wishing my day away so i can get home and do something weddingy.

I have to change the seating plan again. My blooming brother has phoned and asked if he can bring a plus one to the whole day. Under normal circumstances i would say No, but he split from his unkind wife early this year and he has had a hard time of it and wants to bring a new 'gf'. He is not 1 to have many gf's and he offered to pay her share, i had a soft moment what can i say. So i have another guest to add to my family table and will need to re print the table plan.

The carpets look lovely Natalie - and a nice reminder of your wedding prep well after the event!

Wanchai and SB - I hope your OH's are better behaved today :rotfl:They have no idea of the stress do they! They have a shower and shave, get dressed and just rack up for the ceremony. End of.

You have just described my OH to a T!!!!!!!!!!!!! PMSL!!! :rotfl: So glad that I'm not the only one! Maybe they think that they will look like sissies if they admit to having anything to do with it! Although my OH has had way less involvement/interest than yours despite me asking his opinion on everything except the dress!

My OH said i hadnt included him enough so when i asked his opinion on things all i got was "i don't know thats a woman thing to sort out" :rotfl:

Ebay seller has been in touch and is happy to make replacement cards for those spelt wrong (well i should think so as it was her mistake) her alternative was to refund me for three cards... Umm :rotfl: what kind of impression would that give to my family at the meal

:j:j More excitement as my friend has just taken me to a flower wholesale place. They have the perfect Hydrangea heads i'm after. They are huge and you get 10 for £15 +vat. There had table sprinkles at 35p and these gorgeous loveheart shaped blackboards on sticks that go in the flowers. I am desperately trying to think of where i can use them! I will definetly be making a trip 2 days prior to the wedding for all my fresh flowers. :T

Who needs men?! Ha!! (me! lol).... I am so proud of myself. I popped to B&Q on my way home from work and got some ready mixed plaster repair, and have just spent the last half hour or so putting some on the walls in the kitchen where I pulled the plaster off with tiles. Pah! Anything he can do and all that lol. Okay admittedly he got a much better finish that me (he's a bloody carpet fitter he is bound to be able to get better finish with a trowel from his screeding practise). A light sand and another go over and it'll be as good as rain. Then I can paint that wall. (along with the door frame and arcatrive on that wall). The ceiling is the next job. It needs a bloody good scrub and then a lick of paint (possibly two coats).

Still on Natalie. It's like your looking for jobs now!! You generally nest when your pregnant but I think you are doing it pre marriage!

Hahaaaa god don't go panicking him (or me) there!! Ha!! I will keep that little nugget of information to myself lol.
(Haven't actually moved since I wrote the last post though - I'm sat watching Holby City from two episodes ago lol).

Mr Ghostlove is probably more excited about the big day than I am, and he's been letting everyone know that! The lady in the post office asked if we were travelling any time soon (wanted to sell us insurance) and like an excited puppy he exclaimed "Yes! For our honeymoon!" - she looked at me and asked when the wedding was, and he said before I could reply "Only about three and a half weeks, it's on the 22nd July!" :P
