Re the split of wedding admin between bide and groom, with us we make all the decisions together, but I end up doing all the ringing round/form-filling/emailing/purchasing once we've decided.

Ghostlove - it's fun to see OH so excited isn't it? How's your ceremony writing going?

I'm back to getting bits together for BM presents tonight. It's very time consuming, but hopefully worth it!

I forgot to tell you all I bought us some new bedding sheets (can't believe how much a full set costs!!). I figured we might not be going to a fancy hotel the night of the wedding but we can at least sleep in nice crisp sheets

Oh and I have been a good girl and have made a good start of "give the kitchen a bloody good clean" mission. I have done the wall on one side, two units width down the walls, and the ceiling above these units. I *might* do a bit more later. To be honest the ceiling doesn't look as manky as I thought it would so I don't think it will NEED painting after all. But I might do it anyway. Tomorrow we are finishing replacing some of the missing tiles on the walls. and I'll carry on the big clean. Cannot believe the wedding is so close.

Hey everyone- hope your all good!

Grrr, oh bless him has just text me asking to to make an invite for our friends we upgraded, by the time he gets in from footy- about an hr! So I have made one but it isnt great- like I couldnt cut the insert to size so stuck it in full size and have just trimmed the bits you could see from the outside, and I stuck the tape on for the ribbon and realised I forgot to cut it in half, so rather than printing it out again I stuck two rows of ribbon on!!:rotfl:

Oh and I rung my dressmaker and said I want to get my dress Monday, she hadnt done it (:mad:) but said she will do it this weekend! She better do it as Im planning on having a half day Monday as theres a few other wedding bits I want to get done as oh is off for the day.

I so cant believe we are almost at the end of June, it only feels like last week we were saying 'were getting married next month!!'

It is soooo scary that on Sunday we'll all be sat thinking "**** we're getting married THIS month!!"

Haha, my bestie (who'll be officiating) volunteered to write it. I told her to go ahead as long as she didn't mind me being hypercritical, and she said she'd expect nothing less of me. So all I have to do is write my vows. :P

BB - fmil is still on the high dependency ward. She has pneumonia now but they have stopped the bleed from the heart. She's really upset and low bless her.

Emma- i would be losing patience with the DM by now. Talk about stretching it out. Is there anyone else you could use? I would begrudge paying her my hard earned cash.

well I have scrubbed half of the kitchen, and got the other half ready for a good scrubbing tomorrow. I have decided to not paint the ceiling. The tiles are cream and manky, and while they will be clean thanks to my thorough cleaning they will look awful if I paint the ceiling (because I'd be painting that white). Soooo I'm focusing on just tidying up and cleaning. I will still do a white wash on the wall though from where we've pulled tiles off - especially with my plaster repair stuff being grey that will need hiding

Wedding jobs - well apart from the DIYing - I have transferred the The Party playlist over onto MrD's new laptop so he can stream it via there to all the speakers (we have up to 4 sets we could use - but at the moment unsure where to have them all). Ha - he's grumpy that I'm 'filling his new mac with junk' ha! (He is half joking of course).

I did stop and have a little think to myself today though - with all the stress that we're all feeling it is sooo easy to forget why we're all doing this. I am sooo glad that in two weekends time we're having 2 nights away to just be with each other. He really is a star and I do love him very much... even if he drives me crazy sometimes for starting 101 jobs and not finishing any, and for taking forever to start the job in the first place :rotfl:. He really is my other half (throws up)

Sorry I've not been around, been super busy - I'm basically going to work, coming home, doing marking, going to the gym, coming home and marking again, then bed... It'll be all done by the 5th of July so I'll be free to concentrate on getting the last minute wedding stuff sorted! We have got final meetings with the DJ tomorrow and then the venue at the weekend so there are some bits on.

I have got the day off work tomorrow because I have finally got a physio appointment for my knee - hoping it'll be fairly simple to sort out - I personally think I just need some orthotics for my gym shoes but I'll try and keep my professional opinion to myself lol.

I have been reading but I'm too tired to reply properly! Will chat soon xx

Lol - no - my count down is the months to go - so on the 17th June it became 1 month to go. I will next change the picture on the 17th July (wedding day) - and will probably use the photo of our rings that I took a while back

Wow, it's been chatty in here lol. I've been busy all evening doing wedding stuff, am going through my eBay 'to buy' list and going to order the last bits this evening so that I will receive them in time.
