Wanchai - a friend of freind who is on facebook put her status as this over the weekend - To all my invited wedding guests, if you have not RSVP'd me via post, verbal, email, text or carrier pigeon by Friday i shall be assuming you are not coming! the date was for a reason and our venue will wait no longer and neither will I.

Now she is known to be forthright but wow! thats telling them.

lol FutureCooper, that's a pretty good response! I think it's more excusable when the missing RSVPs are people who aren't married - as you don't really get why it's important until you've had or been involved in the planning of a wedding - but when they are people who have had weddings, and big ones at that, themselves it's infuriating!! Especially when they say 'oh I'll let you know when we decide' - you can either come or you can't!! I'd be posting that if any of the missing ones were on my fb but they are all OHs work colleagues.

our RSVPs are now:
INVITED 73
OUTSTANDING 6
YES 61
NO 6

most annoying is that three of those 6 are a family with a young child, and as I'm making up the big favour bags for all the kids I'm having to make one up for her even though I don't know if she's coming yet. so I've bought an extra book, had an extra bag printed, etc, and they could still just say no.

Hello all - just had a quick catch up

We're now wondering if a couple who'd RSVP'd yes and are flying in from abroad will make it due to family issues - it's kind of a wait and see, which is tricky, as we've guaranteed their room too. Hopefully they will be able to come, but it may be a last minute drop out, so we'll probably need to make a plan B table plan etc.

Trying to canfirm our details with the hotel's wedding planner who is leaving this week. The day planner we received had quite a lot of mistakes in it and seemed a bit slapdash ( spelt both our names wrong etc). Anyway the main thing is getting everything confirmed in writing before she goes, especially re payments and costs.

smithkinson - I've got that blinc mascara - it's a very definite look and is a bit of a ***ger to take off (it's pressure rather than dissolving it - they slide off each lash as individual tubes!)

BabyBoots - a second table plan is a fab idea! I am having mine as all separate sheets, so I can do a separate plan for 2 tables. Thanks so much xxx

wanchai - yes, I am planning to make all the separate parts of my table plan this weekend. They'll be ready to assemble when I print off individual lists for each table to and stick them on in the last week or so.

For the actual table lists, losing another two people will mean I have to jiggle them around a bit more. I've done various versions for the current numbers, but I think I'll need another set of groupings as a back up in case they don't come. Hey, maybe there'll be more changes in the next 3.5 weeks...
