Aw!!!! OH bought his and his best man's socks for the wedding today without me even prompting him, I am so proud of him! Bless
Hehe I can just imagine your OH's best mans face when he presents him with some socks to wear lol!smithkinson wrote: »I'm trying to sort my skin out now. I've always had spots, no matter what I do. Trying to drink more water and be really good about my skincare routine and I have noticed a bit of an improvement this week, which I'm happy about
I had awful skin up until recently (it's much better now fingers crossed) and I found lush's 'fresh farmacy' soap to be a godsend - I would actually class it as my holy grail facewash. It's so soothing and I think it definitely helped take away the redness.
Love the shoes Natalie! I have loads of pairs of shoes but no IC's at the minute - I used to love them but for some reason they just don't wear well on my feetI find them really flimsy. I have wide feet too so they are always too narrow for me. Those are really pretty!
Talking of flowers, I have found a bargain for mine! You know how I was !!!!!ing about how expensive it was? Lol. Well someone I work with's daughter is a florist but she wants to set up her own business so is looking to put together a personal portfolio. She's going to do me a bridal bouquet, bridesmaids, grooms buttonhole, and the corsages/buttonholes for the other family people for cost price plus a tenner as long as I let her have some photos of them on the day and write a short testimonial. AND the best bit is, she wants me to take a photo of them at the end of the night as proof that they've lasted - which means she must be pretty confident they will lol. I've seen some pictures of her stuff and they are really pretty (not that I know much about what makes a good flower bouquet) so I'm quite happy with that!
It is 3 months tomorrow for me - dunno how many days that is! Weight loss has stalled for me but inch loss hasn't - I do seem to be shrinking lol. I think it's all the exercise, I do 6 hours a week now of combat, pump and zumba with the occasional swim thrown in there! You body balancers should REALLY try combat if your gym/instructor offers it - it's the same les mills thing where they do the new releases every few months. It's brilliant and I am actually addicted!!
Sorry I've not been on much recently - busy times at work and by the time I've got back from the gym, eaten and showered I can't be bothered to switch the computer on!

Lol, I just thought that it would be nice for them both to have a new pair of black socks for the day
Wow, you're doing so well! If I spent more time at the gym and less on MSE and wedding blogs, I might lose weight a bit faster! :rotfl:7 Feb 2012: 10st7lbs14 Feb: 10st4.5lbs

smithkinson - no, wouldn't have the confidence or the time to do my own flowers! They are costing quite a lot but the florist is doing all the decor for the wedding too so it's turned out to be a really amazing deal.
I am way more excited about them than I ever thought possible!
Silaqui - wow, bargain on your flowers!!!!
Natalie - LOVE your IC shoes! In fact, the more I think about it, the more I think that you should just have whatever shoes you like for your wedding. I'm not sure that the RC shoes are really 'you' - hope you don't mind me sayingxxx

It will be! Mine had better not turn up in his old socks, I can stand the things. He wears those horrible gym type socks that teenagers wear, he doesn't like proper socks. Tramp haha.
Hehe yeah but you have been doing well anyway judging by your sig!

The RC shoes aren't "me" shoes - but no "me" shoes would go with the dress. Lol - I don't think I can wear my red Irregular Choice shoes with it
I will wear the RC ones just because they complete the look. I don't want my shoes to detract from my dress (where as my shoes are usually my statement piece).
Sorry not been much chattier tonight - been writing yet another job application!

Lol - those socks sound a bit un-weddingy alright! :rotfl:
Aw, thanksI've been doing well but could do better - I must find time to exercise more! 12 weeks tomorrow eek!!!!!

Yes, I get it! I never thought that I'd wear 'bridal' looking shoes either but it seems that I like them lol. I defo prefer the RC shoes to the silver sandals, think you made the right choice xx7 Feb 2012: 10st7lbs14 Feb: 10st4.5lbs

Well done on the flowers Slilaqui - what a bargain! It is 3 months tomorrow for me - dunno how many days that is! Weight loss has stalled for me but inch loss hasn't - I do seem to be shrinking lol. Inch-loss is just what me and my too-small sample sale dress could do with! I am trying to brave a few new classes in the next weeks as I am working less hours than before. Body pump sounds like a great one for toning up. i have no co-ordination though, so not sure combat or zumba are for me, but they're both on at my leisure centre. I did go to step for the first time yesterday and one lady was very friendly in showing my the ropes, although I was hopeless! I was expecting something less complicated tan hopping over and round the step.....
If I don't wake up with awful period pains I might try out total body conditioning or legs, bums and tums tomorrow morning. That would take me to an unusually high total of three classes this week - I have been struggling to make one lately!0 -

People having dress fittings- what have you worn under your dress??
I meant to answer this... this thread moves very fast!
I took my shoes (they need to be the right height you'll be wearing for them to pin the hem), and my hoop. If you have a full skirt, it is quite hard to walk without a hoop to keep the skirts away from your feet. I wore a strapless bra that went with my dress, but might go without on the day. If you have a close fitting dress, especially without laces, you'll need the same bra you plan to wear.0 -
I was wondering if people took the bras etc that they were wearing. I would rather wear my strapless wonderbra, but the other bra I have minimizes me a bit more so I guess Ill have to see which one is better once my dress is on. Ill take them both, my hoop, shoes and dress with me! Thats a lot to carry out to my car!!:rotfl:
Well Ive spent the evening trying to find oh a new suitcase for honeymoon!! Ive found him a few options for him to look at and then pick which one he likes!!
Mel- thats a bargain with the flowers. Your dress is going to be hanging off you by July, your doing amazing.0
