Hi everyone it is now 99 days for me. its amazing how many people are getting married on 27th July! Special day with th olympics. Are any of you incorporating the olympics into your day?

Weight I am also starting to panic about getting the weight off I have my dress ordered a bigger size than I would have liked but I hope to have weight off by the time it comes into the shop. I have been at SW before but it is so expensive I have loads of other things to put my money towards. Any hints or tips???

Welcome!! For me and my sanity it is really important to eat sensibly but just eat healthy. I am not a very good ad really because I come and go on the whole being 'good' thing. But for me personally when I begin to think about 'dieting' or 'restricting' in any shape or form I begin to crave which always leads to a proper full blown binge. For me I eat a sensible breakfast (branflakes, weetabix and dried fruit), a sensible lunch (home made soup is a favourite, or left over stew/bolognaise etc, with microwaved veggies) and whatever I fancy for tea - as long as I make small changes (like using olive oil instead of butter). Last week I had things like bangers and mash, and seafood paella, and I still managed to lose some weight. (I'm aiming for a healthy realistic 1lb a week).

Will go add you to the updated brides and grooms list

It's lovely! I tried it on at home and was a little underwhelmed. Took it to my friends and tried it on there, with the help of a full length mirror, and I love it. Well, I almost love it. I really like it a lot, but it needs a little bit of altering as it's a teeny bit too big, so I think once it fits me properly I will definitely love it. :T:T

I know I was going to buy a high street dress, and probably would have had to spend £200-300 for one, and the quality wouldn't have compared to this one as this is a 'proper' wedding dress, but I'm still surprised at the quality. I mean, it's much nicer than a high street one would have been, but had I paid the full RRP (£1230 - I paid £125) I'd have been pretty upset that it's not even a real silk sash.

:T:T:T:T Sooooooooooooooo pleased to read this SK! (I know you've said your first name but not sure whether you would prefer us to call you SK rather). x

I can't wait to see photos of everyone in their dresses on their day.

Ooo I know a game we can play. At my hairdressers we were flicking through photos on our phones - she was showing me her wedding photos I was showing her photos of bits and bobs I'd got organised. So anyway we came to a photo of MrD and she was surprised by it saying he wasn't anything like she thought he would be (where as her husband was pretty much as I expected).

So the game... describe what you think our partners look like based purely on what we write on here. No cheating looking at photos on FB!! :)

    Glad it's looking good!

MrsD, that's a photo of someone else that I googled (the one from the Maggie Sottero website looks weird). The side seams of mine sit a little far forward on me, and the modesty panel at the back doesn't cover my, er, modesty! Hopefully at the fitting the seamstress will tell me she canput a bigger panel in for very little money!;) I'm with you on the aim of 1lb a week though - just back from my first ever step class, trying the 'step' up the exercise a gear from just body balance!

Well done on all your organising and getting in shape for the wedding, I must be quite behind the curve! I've finished my really busy time at work now, so am hoping to have more time for wedding and fitness stuff. I have my first fitting tomorrow in my too-small dress:

Yes, we've started the new body balance release this week - my hips and sides really felt it!

Sneaky, but mostly technologically incompetent. I could try and put one up of my from my fitting tomorrow, but that may be beyond me...

Wanchai, thanks for the compliment, but that's not a pic of me - they are pretty though!

2 more RSVP 'No' s tonight, with no 'Yes' s, brings us to 29 Yes and 9 No in total.
