Hey everyone
Well i was a good girl and went to the gym again today and Ive been good foodwise, im shattered now though!
I emailed a few people about altering my dress, one replied to say she is mega busy but as my dress is plain she could fit me Sat for a 'while you wait service', but Im not sure that I like the idea of my dress being altered while I pop to the shops or have a cup of tea! I guess if I knew thats how long it would take by anyone I wouldnt mind, but Im worried it will be rushed- any thoughts on this??
Natalie- I havent seen either films so dont know how either song goes- ill you tube them later!!
Jemb- not long to go- is everything ready to go? Im so jealous!
Melanie- :jat it being 100 days, 101 for me!!:D0 -
Could you send Linda at no 9 an email with photos (ha) of your dress and ask her how long she would say it'd take to do the alterations to give you a better guide?
Oh bless you - lol Labyrinth - my all time favourite film as a child - I used to know all the words, starred David Bowie and was released in 1986 (but I first saw it a bit later when it was shown on TV and I taped it). And Rocky Horror is great - totally inappropriate for a wedding but what the hell lol. That was released before I was born (1975) but I think I saw it when I was around 15-16 cause I remember my mum going to see the stage show in London and promising me she'd take me when I turned 18 (she never did and now the show has stopped). You must google them!!I demand it lol.

So after a bit of talking last night, and me saying I was a bit upset that the music we chose, whilst it is lovely and I do really like it, it isn't personal to us, we have chosen on 1 definite piece, 1 maybe piece, and are still looking for another.
The definite piece - "Home At Last" on the Labyrinth film Soundtrack. I have decided this is going to be my entrance piece. It starts off quite slow and dull and then builds up with a few snippets of key songs from the film merged together. So the plan is it begins playing, then I walk in after 30 seconds, to the loveliness of it.CANNOT wait!! I am soooo pleased we've come to this decision. The whole piece is only 1.47minutes long so I think it's perfect.

Going to love seeing if people, especially my family, recognise it.
The maybe track is MrD's choice and I'm sooo pleased he's making a proper contribution so it'll be special to him. We talked about having the whole lot from films that we cherished as children, but bless him he didn't have a favourite film (or at least one he'd admit to). So instead I've told him to find a Led Zeppelin piece. He was playing me loads of 'love' ones last night and was in his element - it was just lovely. "oh this one's good" "so's this one" "oh but what about this one". I think he's landed on "The Rain Song" which is just over 7 minutes long - ideal for signing the register. Only problem is it has a little bit of lyrics thrown in, which he doesn't particularly want. (We said from the start we wanted instrumental pieces). So now we've got a challenge of finding an instrumental version - a proper one not just some kid playing a guitar, but without the words. I have said though I don't mind the words - they aren't very long, say 30 seconds of words then 2-3 mins of music. It is a nice piece and I'm so pleased he's chosen something personal to him.I'm very happy indeed. (And I think I'm mellowing cause as he was playing them last night I was thinking they were okay actually - where as I disliked them when we met lol - I think I'm mellowing in my old age - and appreciating them in comparison to the 'noise' of today hahaa).
Anyway another linky for you: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S4v-_p5dU34
And the good thing about this is my mum was very impressed that MrD liked Led Zeppelin when we met and that he appreciated real music, so again it'll be interesting to see if she recognises the song!
So that just leaves us to find a piece personal to both of us for us to walk out to. :T
Damn look at the time - I should not be sat here chatting to you lot - I should be getting my lunch and breakfast sorted!!

Hi everyone it is now 99 days for me. its amazing how many people are getting married on 27th July! Special day with th olympics. Are any of you incorporating the olympics into your day?
Weight I am also starting to panic about getting the weight off I have my dress ordered a bigger size than I would have liked but I hope to have weight off by the time it comes into the shop. I have been at SW before but it is so expensive I have loads of other things to put my money towards. Any hints or tips???0 -
I ordered mine in the sample size (which was super tight on me) and it was excellent motivation!!!!! lol
Hint and tips: well, I have cut WAY down on eating. I've been having protein shakes for breakfasts and lunches. I cut out alcohol for the whole of Feb and lost 4.5lbs! It really helps. I'll probably cut it out again in June, just to give myself a boost.
I've also been exercising a bit more, but ironically haven't got time for lots of exercise because of the blimming wedding planning! Hence the calorie restriction - it takes less time lol. I've just booked 12 personal training sessions and also 6 sessions of ultrasound lipo (both on Groupon lol) to help me along, so will start those soon!!
I started at 10st 7lbs and am hoping to be 9st by early July or as close to it as possible. I'm currently 9st 13.5lbs. 7.5lbs down, 13.5lbs to go! It's ambitious but doable! I am TOTALLY committed to it, I have never been as motivated to lose weight as when I saw myself looking flabby in my lovely dress!

Hello everyone,
Well done on all your organising and getting in shape for the wedding, I must be quite behind the curve! I've finished my really busy time at work now, so am hoping to have more time for wedding and fitness stuff. I have my first fitting tomorrow in my too-small dress:
and have bought two of these lovely bridesmaid dresses:

I tried to get them in the House of Fraser sale, but they had none in stock, so had to pay the not very MSE full price.
I am very exciting about getting a bouquet a bit like this!:

Hopefully I will have some more wedding stuff ticked off to report soon!
