ooh this is a great idea, and caters for everyone. I've only been to one hen night but it was a bright pink theme. I had nothing pink, had to get a whole outfit, and felt like a right wally. I'm not a clubbing type of person at all. but 'black dress bright shoes' lets everyone be a bit more themselves I think. I'd have felt way more comfortable in a black dress with tights on! black is great for all shapes and sizes too, so doesn't make anyone feel uncomfortable. :T

Oh god it's a headache isn't it!! Cause the readings I've chosen I wouldn't necessarily choose our readers to read - if that makes sense... but I want those readings, and I want those readers so tough. Lol. We've tried to find roles for everyone important to us, but it's hard because there is always going to be someone left out.
My Granddad is walking with me down the aisle.
Our mums are being our witness.
My brother and MrD's sister are doing our readings.
That leaves my big brother and MrD's dad without a 'job'. His dad will probably 'present' the rings. But I then feel bad that everyone else has a job apart from my big brother (but then I think I'm doing a reading for him at his wedding so we're kinda connected via that).
It is a headache!!

Well Im so glad its Friday as Im shattered! Roll on 4pm!

LauraL:j on your ring being in. I got my cameras from a lady of facebook who has a little business selling wedding bits, they were £2 each, but as she was local I didnt pay any postage. She hasnt been on facebook for a while though so Im not sure if she is still doing them, did you want me to find out? I think the dress idea would look fab. For my work hen do Im having a pink and black theme, but even if someone wore all balck with a pink bracelet or earrings etc would be fine!

Smithkinson- If you would like your Mum to do a reading go for it. I personally wouldnt think its stange, especially as she is now with someone else.

Melanie- I love that picture.

Where has the morning gone? So far I've read and replied to posts on here; watched Tuesday's holby city, put two loads of washing on, and organised our food plan for next week. Got no plans for the rest of the day. (I am still sat in my PJs) I want something weddingy to do.

Woo OH wedding ring is in :-) so now need to find a free saturday! Busy in the mornings for the next three saturdays! May have to go in the afternoon and hope erinna has a nap out!

For my hen do we going to prezzos and a couple of pubs after.

No readings from me I'm afraid. I choose the quick and easy ceremony!!

I'm interested in the teeth whitening as I have 1 stained tooth and I hate it and I am so conscious of it. The photographer has already agreed to photoshop it in all my pics if it's needed.

Had a pedicure today and booked my appointment for the day before my ceremony. However I'm in 2 minds now. My big toe nail has bubbled up, it was fine when I left and have had open toe wedges on so I'm really disappointed with it - what if that happens on the day. Shock, horror. I should try somewhere else?? But then I will have to travel. Oh damn and blast.

Melanie- I will let you know what I find out about teeth whitening, Im definately looking into it. Me and oh were talking the other day and he was the one that suggested that if it would make me a bit more confident having my photos done then I should look into it. Prices vary so much though I guess I need to start looking to the products and method used, and also how long it lasts etc.

Melanie- why dont you phone them and explain what has happened and your concerns and see what they say? If they dont seem helpful then I would try somewhere else.

LauraL- Shes 2 mins away from me, but she does post out (and its capped at a certain amount). I will see if I can make contact with her and if they are still on offer.

OMG I would be going there tomorrow afternoon without a doubt :rotfl: you can tell I'm not a mummy and you are!! - putting Erinna's needs first :T
And for your planned Hen do I think your dresses and shoes idea sounds perfect and I do like the idea of you being in a bright dress - will make you really stand out! :T

See I thought that first, but then I thought as people are coming from afar literally JUST for the ceremony (given that the reception is 3 days later) we better drag it out as long as possible ha!
And I agree with Emma about your pedicure - give them a call and see what they say. If they put you at ease you can stick with them, if they do everything to squirm out of responsibility then try somewhere else. :rotfl: I am glad I don't have to worry about my toes now I'm wearing closed shoes. :T Just got to make sure my hands look their best!


So how has everyone's Fridays been? I've done an ickle bit of work (boring lol). Nothing weddingy. Sob.
