Well MrD said he couldn't smell the hairspray much, but I could :) maybe I've just got super sensitive nostrils :)

Our plans for the rest of easter are mainly going and buying some new koi. Will share photos later. Also want to tackle the tree stumps then it's another thing crossed off the to do list :). MrD's parents are coming to visit later today. But other than that just lounging about reading. MrD is poorly at the moment, and he had a rubbish night sleep, not being able to breathe properly, so I guess I'll be playing nursery too.

    What are your plans Emma?

You have got to stop chatting so much . . . . it has taken me about half an hour to catch up on the last weeks posts. I am not leaving it so long again as i have missed loads!!

Well all the boxes are unpacked, everything is pretty much in its place. Just waiting for the carpenter to come tomorrow and put up the shelves in the kitchen so i can put the last of my bits on.

Haven't done anything else weddingy this weekend. Still feeling relieved that my dress fitted, however if i keep eating damn Lindt balls it won't. I love them and my kids brought me a big box for Mothers Day and i foolishly opened them last week and i've been nimbling at them ever since.

My plan for this week is to go to Cambridge on Tuesday with my daughter/bm to find her shoes and accessories.

:D Well I'm eating ALL the chocolate in the house today - haaa well that's how it feels :D It should be all gone by the end of tomorrow night... then I'll have exactly 14 weeks to shift some weight. Not desperately needed - I can squeeze into my dress - but I'd rather there were slightly less podgy looking arms poking out of the top. :D

Well we have some new additions to our family :D (See FB for photos) 4 new Koi and we're talking about getting a couple more to fill out the new tank. (Will probably be in 4 weeks time when the latest batch are out of quarantine). But other than that I've had a very lazy day - had an hours nap earlier - heaven - I love nappy naps. Started another new book. Lol I've got serious addicted to reading at the moment!! I should learn to fall in love with the free ones not the £4 a book ones!! (Or I should be more MSE and use a variety of book readers and not stick to Google Books and buy my books wherever they are cheapest!)

I'm starting to properly panic now.

The person who makes the custom rings we have our hearts set on says the turnaround is 8-10 weeks - from the date he receives our fingerprint moulds. He lives in the USA and will have to send us the moulding kit first, so I don't think it's going to happen. We can pay an extra hundred dollars to have a rush put on them, but even then I don't know if it's feasible. I've emailed him to ask but I haven't had a response yet.

Mr Ghostlove hasn't sorted his outfit out yet.

We still haven't given our notice of intent to marry.

We still have three hundred odd pounds to pay the register office (in addition to the cost of the notice) by the 22nd of April. No idea where we're going to pull that from.

    Panic panic panic panic!
I say we take off and nuke the entire site from orbit. It's the only way to be sure.

GL :) I know it's easier said than done but don't panic :) Our registry fees aren't due for 6 weeks before the ceremony so are you sure yours has to be paid by the 22nd?
Giving notice - have you looked at your council's website to see if you can book an appointment online? This is what I did. Made it an easier job to tick off the list cause I tend to forget to do things during the working day.
Suits - has MrGL thought about what sort of suit he wants? The works or just trousers and a jacket? Is he going to be having the same as his groomsmen? Does he want to hire or buy? (If he wants just trousers and jacket I think it's more cost effective to buy - and there are some good deals out there).
Rings - can't help there. But there is 14 weeks to our wedding and you're after us. If you asked the USA guy to send you the finger print moulds asap and you did them on the day they arrived and returned them the next day I am sure you could get them in time for your wedding... even taking the worst case scenario of 10 weeks.
As I said - don't panic :) There are ways round most crisis :) x

Thanks for the welcomes. We were planning a September 2013 wedding until we realised we didn't really want a big wedding so brought it forward (after briefly considering eloping).

I've booked the registry office and we are having the reception at our favourite student pub, who are very excited as they've never had a wedding before. Notice is booked for may. Emailed out our save the dates today.

I need to find a dress (eek!) and get MoH's outfit. And sort something for OH to wear.

We had a photographer for september but he's not available now do got to hunt for another one which I hate. Waiting on lots of emails back from people. Hopeing to get lots of responses on Tuesday!

The rest of the stuff we are mostly doing ourselves!

Sorted our wedding cake this morning. Decided to get one made rather than make my own, and she's going to make our custom cake toppers too which is good. One less thing to order. Now to find a photographer!
