A nice busy weddingy day for you then!! Jealous!! See this is where I wish I hadn't been so organised so early on!! The worry now is that I will create things that I must have just so I have something weddingy to do and the budget will be blown! Lol.

MrD is taking a little bit more interest in the wedding compared to 15 months ago when I first started looking at our invites!! It is nice that he has definite ideas about what tone he wants at the ceremony (ie not jokey readings). Bless him!! I do try to include him lol and he does get to give the go ahead on all the big decisions. Lol the way our relationship works is I do all the research and then present a few options for him to decide on. (Like tonight's tea - I've just texted him with a list of 4 possible dishes and his text back? "They all sound yum"... well that was helpful :rotfl:)

I can't believe the weather - absolutely p***ing it down here. All grey and gloomy! If I woke up to this on my wedding day I would most definitely be having a cry!! Hope we get a lovely July just for us!!

OMG, it's really sunny here! Freezing, mind! I would cry too if our day was rainy, but fingers crossed that July will be fab - sunny but not too warm (don't want to melt in our dresses lol) and no wind!!!

I know what you mean about the budget, I'm starting to do the same! I'm going slightly mad on eBay atm - buying lots of little accessories for the wedding, I am getting so excited about how it will all look! Latest thing is vintage cameras (surprisingly cheap), fabric for bunting and vintage sheet music for the confetti cones.

Although he has said what he wants for his birthday so that is a relief - he wants some new bike boots. Sorted!!

Ohhh, I've just spotted some gorgeous bunting fabric on eBay but it's so dear. Mustn't. Mustn't. My sheet music was a bargain, £3 inc p&p for all my confetti cones! Would it be cheeky to ask the florist to supply the dried petals?

I've been sat staring at my to do list - sob there really is nothing left for me to organise! The rest are either time dependent (i.e. make cheesecakes) or are money dependent so have to wait for pay days etc. Sob!

Veil must be ivory - not sure what length but plain preferred. I'm not into scalloping or crystals.

Headpiece - don't mind really, would prefer pearls.

Right - I know you like vintagy stuff.. headpiece - tiara? Comb? clips? How are you having your hair? I assume you've looked at Glitzy Secrets?
I know sod all about veils cause I'm not having one so I will struggle there.

I really should go and get dressed. Sat here in my PJs isn't getting my three jobs done is it! (Which all require me going out of the house - boo hiss lol)

I'm probably having my hair up, maybe with a low bun - or else half up half down (K-Mid style).

I don't mind whether it's a comb, slide or Alice band. NO TIARAS lol. I hate them! (sorry to any tiara lovers)

See what do you class as a tiara? Because to me they are a la big fat gypsy wedding crown type things, but if you actually look in the tiara sections on websites they include blingy alice bands. So don't rule that section out for sure.

Ha I bet you wondered where I'd gone - not posting on here for over 2 hrs!! But I have just done all my jobs for the day.

And on my return home I had another RSVP waiting for me. It does make me giggle the number of people who haven't listened to me and haven't just emailed us with their responses. Bless them all wanting to splash some cash and sending us a card.

Right - tips on the perfect jacket tattie?

Microwave first, then oven! Must involve baked beans and cheese. YUM.

Re tiaras: I don't like any tiaras. :rotfl:

I'd consider an Alice band (beaded or plain) or a slide/clip/comb, am undecided re bling as the rest of my look isn't blingy... but I do like the Jenny Packham Acacia headpieces (SWOON):
