I want something wedding related to do! I have found a company on ebay who do table plans really cheap- they print out all the names, all I would have to do is get some card and stick it all together, so ill be ordering one from them closer to the time, but now I want something else to research!!

Well Im worrying already about sending oh off to sort out suits! I told my dad to meet oh at 2 in town, well he is running late, oh was meant to meet best man at 1.30, rang best man at 1.30, who was still at home so I had to go and pick him up, and now oh and best man are going to the pub until my dad gets into town!! I really hope oh only has time for one pint!!:rotfl:

Hahaha!! Well I hope their suit shopping experience went ok! ;) just make sure when they bring them home the legs aren't different lengths from where they were swaying :p

Well I've had another lazy afternoon (once I'd done the housework) - laying in the sun reading my book :)

Well I have no idea if they are buying or hiring. Im sure my dad wanted to buy one, so I said if he does thats fine, we will give him a certain amount towards it (about the cost of hiring), and he can pay the balance- he wears a suit everyday so is happy to pay a small amount if he can keep it- but I wont know for definate until they come in- and as for actual details on what they are wearing I wont know until the wedding. Ive had one call already to clarify colours of buttonholes but nothing since so Im hoping it is going ok!:D

Ive been dancing round the living room with the music loud doing some dusting and hoovering!!:rotfl:

Did you buy treat yourself when you went shopping today Mel? Or did you try your dress on?

I only bought a pair of £4 pumps from Primark in the end lol. I did pick up a load of stuff to tr on but dumped it all when I saw the queue for the changing rooms! I'm not usually an afternoon town person - the number of people annoys me!

I didn't try my dress on because I couldn't be bothered :o it's such a faff to put on! You have to be so careful not to catch the delicate bits! I will do at some point though.

    Wedding shoes flash :)
So these are my 'boring' wedding shoes. Ridiculously high heel - 11.5cm :D They look pale in direct sunlight so definitely need to hold them up to my dress in the same light before committing myself to getting them bleached. I do really like them. Honest!

I like them :) Although I couldn't be bothered to try my dress on I did walk around in my shoes for a bit earlier, I haven't cut the elastic bit that holds then together yet though so looked a bit silly haha.

I've been a very good girl today - I have done the following things
    Sorted out washing and ironing
Been to the gym for 1.5 hours
Done a facepack and had a shower
Tried an old dress on to see if it fits me (easier to put on than the WD - and it doesn't fit :( because it's too big :T)
    Had salad for lunch
Been out for an hours walk to feed the ducks
Sorted out the wedding folder paperwork
Written out all of our day invitations - they just need handing out and sending now.
Finished my first glass of rose :D

I'm glad the invites are out of the way although I have an aching arm now! It's mainly family so I've put an RSVP date on them of 1st May, hopefully they will get back to me earlier though. When we know how many are coming to the day we can finalise and send the evening ones.

Hope you have all had a good day, hasn't it been lovely! Such a shame it's Monday tomorrow!
    xx

Mel- sounds like youve been mega busy, and good today. :j at one of your dresses being too big.

Well oh his back, I picked him up from the pub!:rotfl: I dont know what they have gone for (ie colour or style of suit, shirt, waistcoat) all I do know is best man and my dad have the same, oh is the same but is having a different coloured cravat and hankie (bless him- I amazed but he has picked pink!:D. I dont know what colour dad and best mans cravat and hankie are), and oh isnt sure whether the cravat matches his button hole so he may have to buy one, but all in all its cost us £300 to hire, and I was hoping for £100 a suit so he did well. I had also budgeted £50 for oh to get some shoes- but he has some nice brand new ones gathering dust so hopefully he can wear these and then if he has to buy a cravat it will still be within budget.

Haha well they have done well to fit the suit shopping between pints! Seems like it's all coming in on budget too so that's good!

I would rather have chips and chocolate cake rather than pints if I was shopping!!:rotfl:

I think oh is pleased with what he has picked, hes just unsure about the cravat, but suit wise he said he liked it and it looked very nice and he just got his new shoes out (they are still in bag- he got them over a year ago) and I think they will be perfect! Oh and best man bless him thought he had to pay for his suit hire, he was obviously willing to but oh said no we are definately paying!

Budget wise we are doing ok. We are spending more than our initial budget- but only because we have been given money/ have people paying for things now, so how much we are paying out is still the same, but weve been able to treat ourselves to bits we didnt think we could initially have. How is everyone elses budget doing?
