Aww thats lovely of them! Sounds like you will have a very busy easter holidays!
xThs signature is out of date because I'm too lazy to update it...0 -
I think that would be fine moneywise. Have you looked to see if there is any places you want to visit and how much these trips can cost? We arent taking much spending money are we are all inclusive and get things like a massge included so we will only need money for day trips and souvenirs. I cant wait!:j
Oh your going to be busy then NAtalie. Thats so nice of them.0 -
I completed first invite late last night after massive falling out with printer, we're friends now but need more paper and ink! Should have five minutes tonight to take photo and upload here.
Even worse, I ran out of my craft glue roller.0 -

Thank you. That makes me feel better . . . if i can get an order in then i won't have to worry about it in the final days.I had a dream last night that we all met up after the weddiing and we were all sat in a little cafe wearing our wedding dresses :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
I am already dying to wear my dress again and i haven't even got married in it yet!! I have visions of me sat around the house in it . . just because. On which ones, the M&S ones? I guess fruitcake will last ages, sponge not so much.
When you stack cake you use dowelling to poke into the cakes, if you stack them directly on top of each other you take them off the baseboard and just poke the dowels up into the next layer of the cake.
If you want a gap, you leave the cake on the board and you buy the little pillars that fit onto the dowels and use that to stand the next layer on.
OOh thanks. I am going to have look into what shape the cake stand is that the venue supply. I am thinking of buying a small M&S sponge cake to 'play' with. I want to add ribbon and buttons to it. Then i get to eat it afterwards, so best only buy a little one. I am to impatient to wait until the few days before the wedding to choose how to decorate it!
I went to Portugal a few years ago and it is average European prices. It isn't overly expensive i would say it is on par with Spain. If you eat local foods and use the smaller restaurants you can eat really well there. It is a very pretty country, where abouts are you going? I was up in the hills near Caraveiro (sp?)
Yay:T to Natalie for yopur wonderful IL2B. How kind of them and now you can keep super busy in the next 5 months decorating. I love home-making! I dream of 2 years time when we can finally join the homeowners club again and i can decorate my own place. I must admit i have got a little wobble on today realising that i could/should be moving house 6 weeks today  and i haven't got anywhere to go!!! :eek:0 -

Melanie- did you send some questions to the letting agents about that house in the end or have you decided its a definate no? I think its definately worth having a practice go with the cake- you wouldnt want to leave it till a day before to find the materials you have arent right etc. There are some fab button decorated cakes on google and pinterest- are you going to make a button topper??
Michelle- me and my printer had quite a few fall outs whilst making the invites, im sure all my oh heard is 'you need to come help me now before this printer goes out the window'!!:rotfl:
Wanchai, im sure your weigh in will ok, as long as you ate sensible normal food im sure you wont have a bad weigh in.0 -

Yes we have sent some questions to the letting agent. They have contacted us today to say that because of the amount of work the agent has requested the LL is going to come over to the UK to see the house for himself. It should be this week and then the agent can tell us what work is going to be done. We will make a decision based on that.
I have spotted some lovely ones on google. Not looked at Pinterest yet, might have a gleg tonight. oooh hadn't thought about a button topper. Now there is an idea!! :j0 -
Oh well fingers crossed you will know soon what the ll is going to do.
Im going to stop looking at cakes for the mo- it makes me so hungry and I now crave a nice cupcake!!:rotfl:0 -
