Well ive just been talking with my friend and I mentioned we should start running again and she agrees so is going to get her boyfriend to look after her 2 kids next week so we can start. We used to go a few times a week and really enjoyed it as we encouraged eachother and pushed eachother more than if we went on our own!0

Hurrah!! We should call ourselves the Running Brides (and grooms?)
Melanie - yep much better than fashion trainers0 -

) , the WTB is more stressed fretting about how many people will show and need to do this need to get that etc.. Thats what prompted me to join in here with you ladies less ear ache
You should be able to get a dress for £400 but if she really finds the 'ONE' and its more than budget you may have to save elsewhere as you wouldn't want the future love of your life to 'make do' on the most important and most photographed dress of her life . . . . thats what i told my H2B anyway
I think she's already trying to do thisI would give in anyway but not on the 1st or 2nd outing
Things like chair covers- (and sorry to those who have read me say this loads of times) have a look on facebook if you are on there- is there any local wedding pages set up? I got mine from a new company setting up for £1 a cover and sash including set up, and another bride got her chair covers for 75p for cover and sash, she just needs to set them up- considering the going rate is at least £3 it goes to show it is worth shopping around for deals. Have you checked at your venue to see if they have any cloths themselves?
Yeah tried the venue they dont have them.. will try facebook though great idea.. taOh sounds like you have got a fab deal price wise.
It seemed to be, Just saving us the cost of a honeymoon due hols/Honeymoon together, both our parents are coming so we should get some peace from the kids. Also less hassle organising(yet to be proven) then guarantees nice beach backgrounds for the photo's fingers crossed0 -

:rotfl:that really made me laugh!
I have got some really bargains on my local facebook group so its definately worth looking into, or the company Melanie (future cooper) is using do post using a courier so if you could get some people together to help you set up it could work out still a lot cheaper than £2- £3 a cover which is what most companies charge- and they may have table cloths etc aswell.0 -
Well, after my body combat class last night, I was coerced into trying out zumba tonight! It was pretty good, not sure why people rave so much about it but it was enjoyable. Will probably go again next week haha.
Writing on my phone again so will catch up proberly tomorrow, hope you are all well xxThs signature is out of date because I'm too lazy to update it...0 -

wow. we have become a busy group again all of a sudden. I have finally booked in for my hair/make up trial. I have booked it for the 4th May. This is the day after my dissertation is due in, so will be relaxed on that front. This will be a big day for me as will be the first time I have tried on my dress as well since getting it (because of the pregnancy, and baby weight) Lets hope it fits
Also after speaking to my Mum she has decided she wants to pay extra and have the higher grade photography package. This means I will have someone taking photos as I get ready (my Mum thought it would be really cute with all the babies there - Mine, My cousins, and my Sister in Laws). It also gives me two photographers for the entire day as well as two parent albums. Was double the cost but we do get quite a lot more.
Also forgot to say I booked the hotel in Bath in my married name :j:j:j:j:j0 -
Hello!!!
I am getting all panicky again about how much there is to do, am currently taking deep breaths! My wedding is 6 months tomorrow (and so is yours, biscuitmad
), aaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Tracey, how exciting about your married-name booking, wayhey! :jOkay now tea is in the oven (well it will be once it's heated up) I've got a spare minute to write!!
Got an email from my bridal shop - I will be popping in on Saturday with the rainbow club shoes to see if they are the right colour :T I can then send them back. I can then begin the internal debate of which shoes do I prefer vs which shoes will go better with the dress. :rotfl: Wanchai - I may take a longer time than you to make a decision on your wedding dress
Oh good Lord!!!!!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:FutureCooper wrote: »ooh a nice blank canvas to work with. I would suggest you sit with future Mrs and look on google images for wedding reception halls etc and get some ideas or let her buy some bridal mags or MSE share them with a friend!

Wanchai is our champion dress buyer!
What she means is that I took AGES and went to every dress shop in a ten-mile radius! :rotfl: But I eventually found 'the one':D BUT (big but) it's £1,300!!!!!!!! But it's worth every penny to me, as I totally adore it and feel amazing in it. Just warning you...!
But I agree with PinkPrincess - lightweight will be the way to go for Cuba, so get your OH to check out Monsoon etc for light, floaty dresses. And they are pretty cheap! :money: STAY AWAY from taffeta in particular, it creases like mad!
Well done on the running and joining the slimming club Melanie, I am proud of you! In fact, you are all getting very active indeed! *feels inspired*Prescott699 wrote: »im sorry but I'll have to pass on this... tried it the over day, got out of the door and heard some clapping... felt really embarrassed when I turned round and it was my bum cheering me on :rotfl:
