Oh you have to have a second pair just incase it rains on the day, or your feet get cold or you might need to dance or you might get a blister or you might break a heel or you might chip my toe polish or you need to match a clutch bag :)
In fact I think you should get the Jimmy Choos that I linked to earlier lol. :D

I heart the IC ones - they do them in silver and white as well - drool!
  • oh im loving all the shoes Melanie.

And Jemma- I couldnt see your shoes earlier but can now- they are sooooooooo lovely, you should be like :D for a long time!!

I love all this shoe talk.

I do have some more tradional 'wedding' shoes- in the same colour as I linked earlier- but with a much smaller heel, I plan on wearing these in the evening!

    Awww Laura!! :D
And without seeing them I would say no you haven't gone OTT - you're just making sure everything ties in together!
  • Laurar- I dont think it will look too much, i think its subtle enough not to look too in your much or too much, but will actually pull everything together and look fab!!!

I am now worrying that mine is going to look too mismatched but I think it should look ok. Im going to order some more of the little flower gems I think so I can use them on the table planner aswell- im thinking as long as my stationary and bits on the day match it wont be so bad that my invites are a bit different!!

    Woohoo- no work until Tuesday!!!:j

We do chat alot on this thread don't we!!:rotfl:

Thanks everyone for your birthday wishes. Had a nice day and meal with OH. But my BM didnt text or FB me
to say Happy Birthday, so i'm a little bit annoyed and don't quite know how to take it, maybe she
genuinely forgot. Shes meant to be popping round later so will she if she says anything.

    Natalie
    - how did it go with the make-up? Love your news initals - i could do with a NAP right now!!

jemb - love the shoes! wow the heel!

Emma - Hope your having a fun day out. Have i seen your shoes? If not could you PM me,i wanna be nosey!!

Mel - i think if you like the ring and OH says you should get it then go for it. I don't think £179 is too much for a wedding ring

Went to see my BM for my sisters wedding yday (if you remember i'm due the day of her wedding!) it fit at the moment!! Anyway we are meeting a dress maker in October to see what she can do, apprantely she is really good and she makes dresses herself and she is quite local to us. The people at the bridal shop seem to think she might be ablt to do something with the dress to make it fit me when i'm 9months pregnant!!:rotfl:

Assuming you haven't had it by then - lol I did nearly write on your FB about you being one of these nightmare sisters that dares to fall pregnant before your sisters wedding lol. But I wasn't sure how bridezillary you sister is over it lol so thought best not!

Well I'm back from sunny (!) Nottingham. :) Got my schuh shoes returned which is another thing off my summer hol to do list. Have decided on the John Paul Gautier Classique perfume. I tried a spritz of the G Armani Code on and it just didn't make me feel so 'walking on air' as the JP one did earlier in the week. (MrD is still choosing the wrong smell though - he says he prefers the Code one - but he's rubbish so I'm ignoring him). So rather than be a good MSEr and wait till October half term to buy some duty free... I'm been a little bit impatient and have come home with some instead lol... ooops!! Still I love it so I don't care.

Mac - fab make up. I have an eye 'paint pot' which is more like a cream eye shadow than a primer - but he used it as a primer (rather than their actual eye primer) and it is brilliant. 7hrs later and I still have eye shadow on (he put some normal eye shadow on the top of it), and I don't have a 'pool' of it collected on the crease of my eye lid. Brilliant stuff. He put some primer on my face and found me a good concealer to use - so they are the three products I walked away with (for £20... well for £45 if you include the cost of the consultation lol but I'd already paid that so it doesn't count... right?!). He did my eyes - I think they are really nice for a night out - but I wouldn't say they are "work" make up - lol so if you go to a Mac consultation I would refine "work" for "barely there". (Lol cause obviously each persons definition of "work" is different lol). He did find a really nice colour blusher - that is going to be my next purchase when I can afford it lol. And then he did my lips - it was a much paler pink colour than I'd normally wear but I think I liked it. I'm going to have a play around with my normal make up tomorrow - using the products I've got today to see what I think. I think the eyes were too dark for the wedding - so that needs playing around with (but these are the things I'm never happy with - cause I have quite small eyes - putting too much darkness to them makes them look even smaller). The blusher is perfect, and the lip colour might have been good too. :) I am happy. :)
