hey guys, I had my first scan today and everything went well. The baby refused to stop moving so they struggled to get any measurements. My due date is3rd March 2012.

lol natalie a life eh! haha. no mil and smil hate eachother... i secretly wish they would both come or non come it will be more entertainment them both been there haha!

i know what u mean about showing affection infront of family. we will cuddle on the sofa and hold hands but defenatly no snogging... im sure after a few bevvies on the night tho there will be to much affection going on! haha

they managed to get some measurements in the end. I was in there for 35 minutes. I had to empty my bladder halfway through, and had to keep jumping around to try to get it to move position. We did manage to get two nice photos. Even the person doing the scan said they have never seen a baby that young move so much. Seems like it is going to be trouble already :rotfl:

Thank you all for the lovely Welcome. MrsDrink your link was brill - ooh getting excited about having a theme now! Everything seems to have fallen into place all at once. Finding you guys and buttons. LOL.

A few of you have mentioned posting pics of your latest creations/ideas/shoes and dresses etc . . . . how do you do that? I can't find any to view though but i am assuming thats because I am viewing from work and we have a high security wall as its a school! I love the idea of being to able share our own style and wedding stuff.

This is how I do it - and it'll work with any photo anywhere on the internet whether it's on a photo storage site or a shop website.

Right click the photo and choose 'open image in new window'
Copy the web address/link from that new window (will usually end in .jpeg)
Then come in here and write [ img ] (without spaces) paste your web address/link and write [ /img ] (without spaces).

For example if I write:
[ img ]http://images2.moneysavingexpert.com/images/masthead2010/MSEtitle.jpg[ /img ]
(without spaces) then the following is embedded into my post:



You can use the little image tag button (the one that looks like mountains on a yellow background with a square sun) but I find the above just as quick and possibly easier.

Please note a) the photo you want to embed must be on the internet somewhere already either in a photo storage site such as photobucket/flickr even on facebook. and b) you can't do this for photos on flash sites.
You have to open the photo so only that photo is in the page - no other stuff - it should have '.jpeg' at the end (or some other photo file extension) so mse knows you're embedded a photo.

Talking about mothers meeting. My mum has met my in laws 2 be but my dad is still yet to met them. OH mum has asked to meet him as she said then she can know who he is at the wedding! I think now i'll just wait untill baby is born then they can meet each other then.

Been into town today to get my new glasses. OH likes me in them!!;)

I've had an email back off MrD's mum (she lives round the block and she saw MrD last night - lol bless her) saying she accepts our invite. Think she's excited about seeing my mum. Bless! I will have to make sure there is plenty of food and drinks at the BBQ!

Well I am all hot and sweaty now - I have finally finished digging up the back hedge - well what was left of it after we cut down the 'treey' bits a few years ago. It was basically just some tree stumps with the odd branch of regrowth but then oodles of brambles and nettles. I have got 4 builder bags worth of crap out of it. Now we just need a mini-digger to come and dig up what is left - the tree/bush stumps. It's good cause I had bookmarked up until (and including) Friday to get it done so Im very pleased that I've managed to get it done two days early. it's another job ticked off the to do list.

Oh hurrah I sold my men's sandals - and the buyer paid this morning, so I've ordered the PADI diving manual, two log books, and a dive table how to guide. We have all of that apart from the log books on the e-learning but you have to be connected to the internet to view them. This way I can 'revise' when we're away at race meetings, and more importantly on the plane to Tenerife in 9 weeks 4 days time

I have put a slow cooker tea on - and the smell is driving me insane!! It's Jamie Oliver's cheese steak and ale pie - but without the pastry, and without the cheese. Mmmm love it - but smelling it now is making me want to dive head first into it!!
