Hmm, just looking at the spreadsheet again.... very, very scary stuff! We're lucky we've got supportive families.

I'm going to watch some youtube things on how to make bridal bouquets, the thing is I really, really want real flowers and this makes it much more difficult! But we can get the flowers really cheap from a nearby wholesale warehouse and my sister says she'll buy these as my wedding pressie.

I'm baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack lol did you miss me?!

Laura did you get your honeymoon booked and chair covers deposit sent off :D

Well great news - I think my wedding ring has tried to be delivered today so I will pop into town first thing tomorrow morning and fetch it. Also had an email (and text) off Phase 8 to tell me my dress has been despatched - hurrah - no idea why they couldn't just get another one off the peg for me and why I had to bother placing a second order. Silly company - but I don't care cause it means I will have this dress - just hope it fits and looks fab :D I do have some shoes and accessories that go very well with grey so the MSE in me is :T but the shoe loving queen in me is :( lol.

Today's weather was MUCH better :D Actually felt too hot at one point - hurrah!

Am now in the process of getting everything we've worn over the last few days washed so we can take it to Eurodisney with us.

Bun is happy to have me home - lol I opened the french doors and he was straight outside (he's a house Bunny) and then went and sat staring at the garage door waiting for me to open it so he could go and hide under MrD's bikes lol. (Although there is only one sat in there at the moment so it's not a particularly fun hidey hole for him lol).

It's nice to be home though!
And more importantly back on here!

It was really nice to see MrD this last two days - his apprentice is just starting out in the world of racing bikes - and his bike was just not playing properly (misfiring, running too lean etc etc) but MrD was so patient. Even though it meant he missed out on loads of practice track time ready for his next race on the 20th. He was just happy to be helping his apprentice out - it was kinda like watching a big brother looking after his little brother - made me all warm and gooey inside!

Can I stamp my feet and scream I want my dress?! Lol and for once I don't actually mean my wedding dress I mean my phase eight dress - lol.

I have been to pick up my wedding ring. It looks like it is the right size - woo hoo - but lol we had a pizza last night so my fingers are a little bit swollen - I have taken my non-engagement ring off so I could try the wedding ring on - and now I am struggling to put that one back on lol. Ooops :D I've been sooo naughty since I got back from my last race for life!! I plan on eating off 'diet' until I get back from Eurodisney and then I will be an angel until we go diving. :) I will need to be back to being good for my dress fitting - I may send them an email to see what I need to be at my best :D

So what is everyone up to today? I need to get my OU assignment finished so I haven't got that to look forward to when I get back from Eurodisney. But other than that nothing, and nothing weddingy :(

Okay in my impatience I used a bit of washing up liquid to put both rings on - they are just perfect together!! Next time I've done my nails I'll take a photo for you :)
Lol I wonder if I can take a bottle of fairy down the aisle with me so MrD can get my ring on :rotfl:

MrD's buttonhole could be one of those comedy clown flowers filled with fairly liquid :D Just in case!

I am guilty of moaning that I'm bored during the holidays too... very naughty but glad I'm not the only one!

Go on, let it all out you are allowed!

Well I impulse bought a wedding dress this morning - absolute bargain as well. I was in monsoon just browsing the wedding dresses and trying a couple on, this one was about the best because the straps are wide enough to cover the horrible bit of my shoulders that I don't like. They only had the size 14 which I tried on and quite liked, but couldn't quite do up (bloody boobs!).

I asked if they had the 16 and the girl went and asked, and then came back with a dress bag which had the dress in a 16. She said someone had bought it and returned it but there was a mark on it, and part of the embellished bit on the strap was pulled off so they'd been planning to send it back to the warehouse. I tried it on and it was fine, the mark is literally right at the bottom on the hem at the back, and the bit that was pulled is nothing that can't be fixed with a tiny stitch.

I asked her how much they were wanting for it and she went and got the manager - original price £225, she said I could have it for 125 - I told her I didn't want to pay more than £100 as it was damaged - and she said yes! LOL

So I picked up a bit of a bargain! I've just sponged the hem and the mark has come off, looked all over and can't find any other problems apart from the detached embellishment but that will only take a couple of little stitches to fix. So that's another thing sorted :)

I'm pretty pleased with it, I don't absolutely love it but then there isn't really anything out there that I do love that much, but this one is comfy and looks ok so I'm happy with that. Next problem is to get a backless, strapless bra as it's quite low at the back. Or just a normal strapless and then some safety pins to pin the strap down haha.

    xx
Ths signature is out of date because I'm too lazy to update it... :o

I dont want to go too much into moaning about people just incase they read this but basically most my family who were up for my hen do have either pulled out or not replied to my messages, so I just dont know what to do anymore.

when are you off to disney? Oh im sure there will be some debenhams codes somewhere!

Leaving here at 3:30am tonight/tomorrow morning.

Lol to stave off a bit of boredom I've decided to paint my nails - then I can take photos of my rings for you all :D

Mel - soooooooo pleased you have found a dress. Okay so it's not one you absolutely love but then to be honest I think unless you are a dress person you aren't going to find one you love. To find one you like enough is brilliant news. And even better that you got it at such a great price!! I bet even if it was in the sale it wouldn't have been reduced as much as that!! Well done!! Hurrah for impulse buys!

Emma - oh no!! Organising a group of people is so hard to do!! I'm so glad I'm just sorting me and my CBIIWHO out!! If there is anything we ca do to help just scream!
