OMG That looks sooooooooooooo good.... I am soooooooo tempted to have a chocolate cornflake wedding cake... right am off googling :rotfl: will get a piccie and show MrD. Mmmmm!! (lol we are really naughty - we go to Morrisons buy 2boxes of 18 little cornflake cakes, one each, and munch our way through them in one afternoon). lol I can just imagine the inhalation of breath if we announced to people we were having a choccie cornflake pile as our wedding cake... lol snap a bit off - help yourself lol.0

Heh heh okay now I'm just googling my favourite desserts and seeing if people have turned them into wedding cakes...
How about a meringue cake:
Oh how fab do these look - roulade cakes:0 -
Haha- I have images of you sharing the top tier amongst your guests and then you and MrD eating a tier each!!:rotfl:
You could have them in cake cases on your cupcake tower- you could get some fancy cases and make them yourself- so tasty and probably really cheap to make!! Im just thinking how you could make it look a bit prettier!!0 -
Lol I prefer your idea of having a tier each0
-
How about oodles of pancakes:
(Although I do quite like the roulades - lol I wonder how 'cheap' (looking) it'd be if we brought loads of cadbury's mini chocolate rolls and laid them out ala the photo above lol)0 -
Haha- this with vodka jelly would be fab!!:rotfl:
Or a jagermeister tower:
This would be good with your fave cakes:
You could incorporate chocolatecornflake cakes in there.
I dont think having a tier each would be a good idea- may end up with divorce over who has the larger tier!!!:rotfl:0 -
Oh that would be easy - Me!!
Ha!!
Loving the Vodka Jelly cake lol. Madness!!
All this looking at cakes have made me decide (yep another change of mind). I *AM* going to make our own cheesecakes - on the basis that we can make them nice and thick... but I will make them all about a fortnight before hand, cut them all up into individual sizes, and then freeze them. Ready to defrost on the morning of the party0 -
Haha- why am I thinking you will change your mind a few times in the next year over whether to make them or buy them! I think you should try and make one first and see how it tastes (and then maybe a few more just to make sure its just right!!:rotfl:)0
-
