Hi all just checking in :)

Centrepieces look cool! Like the blue glass with the candles - not sure about the stacking though, I would worry about them being knocked over with the candles - would it look really rubbish to have different sizes kind of next to each other? Don't listen to me though haha I'm crap at stuff like that!

Lol I don't really do pretty things I'm too practical! Normal people see pretty wine glasses, I see broken glass and tablecloths on fire - normal people see pretty flowers, I see bee magnets :rotfl:
Everyone at work today was talking about my wedding - (randomly - I didn't start it!) and talking about flowers and I said I was probably just going to have artifical ones because I didn't want swarms of insects everywhere and everyone laughed at me :(:p

Bet you are looking forward to dress shopping Natalie - enjoy and take plenty of pictures! :D

Sorry to hear about the car Emma, some idiots about aren't there.

Hope you are all well anyway xx
Ths signature is out of date because I'm too lazy to update it... :o

Mel- im a bit too pratical aswell- hence why im not having candles as im scared it will cause a fire (ie my brother in law once set fire to a napkin at a wedding due to candles on the tables) and im too worried kids will choke on scatter crystals if they are too small!! And im having artifical flowers- mainly as mil2b does them but I do suffer with hayfever and my eyes itch like mad- not a good look when im walking down the aisle!!!:rotfl:

I think different size glasses could work quite well as it could look quite quirky.

I've 'done' 20 of them, am going to do 100, even though we're only have 53 guests maximum, if people have seconds they don't have to worry about saving their cutlery. :)
(*this* really isn't getting tea done is it?! :rotfl:)

Thanks. and we are going super glue the glasses together to stop them getting knocked about and thinking of draping some strings of crystals around them all to keep them linked together to stop people trying to touch and move them x

that is the exact reason im having artifical flowers... i dont want any bugs!!!! lol:rotfl:

A little disappointed at the moment, dress has arrived, but it's not the right dress and Monsoon can't do anything for me until tomorrow morning when they have spoken to the warehouse to find out what has happened - I know what has happened, you've sent the wrong dress Monsoon!

So it's going to sit behind my desk at work now until Tuesday (off to Thorpe Park on Monday for a team building day).

    I feel like crying!

Oh no Michelle that is rubbish and totally not like Monsoon!! I hope you kick up a fuss and tell them how disappointed you are and that this was to be a special day - receiving your bridal gown. Hope they put it right soon!

Just checking my ebay - and I'm in shock. Someone has just bought all my purple balloons (99 of them) for £8.91 (plus postage).... I got them (along with 100 white balloons) for only £11!! Lol I'm in the wrong business!!

Update: I posted on Monsoon's facebook I was disappointed, and within half an hour they'd rung me. All sorted now, new dress being delivereed Monday to work - won't check until Tuesday as we're off to Thorpe Park on the Monday. Lovely lady called Sarah from their London office sorted it out for me - much better than the dedicated customer service line who didn't seem to know what he was doing. They did offer to send it tomorrow to my home address, but since H2B is in, I said it'd be better to send it to work, and the courier should be able to find the uni, unlike parcelforce who can't find my house - that's another story.

Faith has been restored in Monsoon (fingers crossed!) Wrong dress being sent back Tuesday.

One colleague wound me up a little by saying, 'it's only a dress and no-ones died, and I'm sure you don't get upset by other things that go wrong when you order them online' I just had to leave the office as that really did upset me.

Even, better my ebay item from 'China' for my trip to Sweden has arrived, a little confused though as it has a return address near Slough..... mmmm odd.

Right, best start on dinner as need to eat before I go to Scouts this evening to finish off the scarecrow for the village fete and do some crafts for the craft stall.

Really glad to hear that Michelle :)

Well I have spent the last hour finishing off my 100 cutlery sets :) (Knife & Fork wrapped in a napkin with a ribbon band). Lol am glad I'm getting the little jobs like this done now so we don't have to worry about them closer to the day!

How come even though I'm going wedding dress shopping tomorrow I'm really struggling to stay focused and be good - lol I really fancy a pizza - which would be crazy cause it'd bloat me right out!
