Hahaha Laura I just caught sight of your sig and had a sudden shocked "omg why is my wedding date on her sig?!?!?!?!" moment - and then I realised I am on a thread for July 2012 brides lol.

Well done Laura R for getting so much sorted - I love those little etch-a-sketches, forgot to comment earlier!

My OH is away this weekend and I have just broken the Sky remote oops - he won't be happy when he comes back tomorrow lol!

LauraR - those bridesmaid dresses are lovely - really elegant and classy. :) Bet you can't wait for your order to come through. Love the little writing boards for the kids. When we went to my Uncle's 60th birthday I sat next to my brother's girlfriend's daughter and we played hangman with little bits of paper her mum had bought so something like these boards are just perfect!! :) So glad that you have booked your venue - I bet it makes it feel a bit more real and certain. And yay for having the bridal suit free - although eek at those stairs - lol you'll have to limit your and your husbands (as he will be at that time) alcohol so you can walk up them and not crawl lol. Yesterday we saw a really hideous bridesmaid dress. It was like a baby doll dress - fitted around the bust and floaty down to the knees. It was electric blue with cherise pink sequins pinned all over the bust area. Hideous!

LauraL - ooooo what car have you bought?

Mel - you can get replacement sky remotes on ebay quite cheaply :) (lol at getting confused about signatures!)

Slept like a baby last night - woke up this morning in a kinda state of disbelief - I can't believe I have found my dress :D I'm going to start looking at shoes - while I can still remember what the dress looks like - may order some from somewhere like Schuh that has a 360 day return policy - then take them with me from the dress fitting and return any I don't like. :D

Okay so those of you who have seen my dress.... what do you think - would these 'go'? (Argh!)

    Chianti.jpg&w=240&q=100

My concern is are they boring? I think they would suit the style of the tea-length 50s dress and the pleating I think would suit the dress. I'd be worried about the colour. Argh!

Just looking - because they are rainbow club shoes I could get them dyed to match a swatch off my dress (lol which would be easy to get as I'm chopping the bottom off!)

*edit* I've just sent Rainbow Club an email to see if they could match my dress - or whether they only dye their shoes to 'real' colours rather than white/ivory.

    Goodmorning.

MrsD- Definately need to see the dress, please pm me!! So glad you found it and had a good experience. And what a shame you will need to buy new shoes!!:D

Oh I had the best time at take that last night, it was AMAZING!! I think my fave part was the orginal stuff, it was like being 10 again!! Oh and my childhood crush for Mark and Robbie has returned!!:rotfl:

LauraR- those sketch pads for the kids are a fab idea. Were they expensive? I need some things to keep kids entertained as my oh has let me invite another 2 kids to the day on the condition they behave and dont run round screaming so I was thinking of doing a little pack, am going to do my disposable camera idea, but need a few more ideas, may get some activity books and things.

LauraL- how exciting on getting a new car.

We went and looked at a car yesterday but although it was nice oh being a car man spotted a wiring quick repair he wasnt happy with so it was a no, but Im dragging him shopping on weds so fingers crossed we find a new one!!

oh and welcome Sweetilemon- you amy have guessed what a chatty bunch we are!!!

:T Glad that you had a fabulous night Emma!!

Lol as much as it's a pain in the bum - your OH is very right to not accept a rushed job! You don't want things to go wrong when you've got it!

oh definately, and he definately knows what he is talking about as that was his jobs for years (and kind of it now) theres no way I would disagree with him- when looking at cars his job is to make sure its all sound mechanically, mine is to make sure its all pretty and I will look good it in!!!:rotfl:
