Heh heh I can't stop staring at photos of MY dress0

Yesterday we saw a really hideous bridesmaid dress. It was like a baby doll dress - fitted around the bust and floaty down to the knees. It was electric blue with cherise pink sequins pinned all over the bust area. Hideous!
:(:(:( I've bought one like that for my sister...
LOL just kidding :rotfl:PinkPrincess83 wrote: »Oh I had the best time at take that last night, it was AMAZING!! I think my fave part was the orginal stuff, it was like being 10 again!! Oh and my childhood crush for Mark and Robbie has returned!!:rotfl:
Hi Sweetilemon! Welcome to the thread
I've just been out this morning and spent £80 in Boots:o:o I suffer from horrible spots round my chin and I'm just so fed up, I've tried all sorts of treatments and things that haven't worked so I've forked out for Clinique and if that doesn't work I'm going to the doctors. I don't wanna be an acne-head on my wedding day!

I'm going to be popping to the docs in the summer holidays - to speak to my nice male doctor about my spots - he is happy to double dose me on the hormones in the contraceptive implant so I dont have periods - and hence dont have spots. (Well it worked last time). My biggest problem isn't so much the spots - it's the red marks they leave behind - my skin takes an age to heal from anything - spots, cuts or bruises. At the moment I have 'spots' on my face - they aren't normal white spots they are really angry ones that never really seem to come to a head - just swell up (have one on my upper lip that actually swelled my lip up!) Am going to go in and talk to him about when he recommends I start sorting them out. (I actually don't like to not have periods if that makes sense -I prefer my body to be able to do it - although I have been 'spotting' for coming up to a month now lol - damn new implant!) (oh I also get them on my back - which given it's going to be on show with my dress it will need to be spot free too!)
I will see if I can find a piccie of the bridesmaids dress - I haven't seen anything that hideous on anyones threads on here so I'm sure I'll be safe slagging it off lol.0 -
Oh thats a good idea, I'm on the pill atm but maybe there is one that is a bit stronger that might do the same thing? I actually love not having periods, but then when I did have them they were awful they used to cripple me for the best part of 2 weeks which was why I went on the pill in the first place. So I love it haha!
The ones I get are wierd, they are more like big goosebumps that spots iyswim? (sorry if TMI!) But they get bigger and bigger till I have this big lump which I can't resist squeezing even though it doesn't need it, and then I end up with a scabI only get them on the two bits either side of my chin. It's like spot muttonchops lol.
OMG I have a little beetle on the inside of my laptop screen? I saw it crawling about and tried to brush it off but couldn't! LOL how did that get in there!

lol whatever you do don't try to brush him away - let him crawl out in his own time. On my old laptop I did that - and accidently squished it - then it was stuck - like dead pixels - used to drive me insane!!
Personally I would recommend a visit to your docs - I used to have an ointment that began with Z that was really good at reducing spots on my chin (and preventing them) - lol back when they were just on my chin. I'm most annoyed at the one on my top lip of all places!0 -
Im sure Ive seen that dress somewhere before- as I can really picture it, just cant remember where!!
Mel- I liked how it was put into sections, definately helped it flow. I thought all the stage props where amazing, and I love the fact they put on a proper show rather than just singing and thats it.
Im really lucky in that Ive never really suffered from spots- but I am worried ill wake up the morning of the wedding covered in them!! My little sister bless her has already started suffering with spots at age 11, so she may be wanting a bit more make up than I originally thought she would want- luckily my make up lady is a good price so I dont mind.0 -
She is only 11 but encourage her to not pick at them. No amount of make up can hide scabs
(Speaking from experience lol why are they so pickable!)
Which dress? The hideous bridesmaids dress - lol I'm sat googling it and getting no where so far. (Still it's keeping me occupied lol). I have also played around with my bouquet - it's ready for the greenary bits to be stuck in I think, and for the stems to be cut to the right length - lol but I'm nervous about that bit lol.0 -
I never had them as a teenager! Only since I hit my 20's really. Typical lol!
Yeah they do put on a good show, I always think you could go and not even really be a fan and you'd still come away feeling like you'd got your money's worth.

I was telling her the other day just to try and leave them, dont pick and scratch at them- hopefully she will listen as I wouldnt want her to have bad scars later in life.
Yep- the bridesmaid dress- i can really picture it and was thinking it may be from the bridal shop I drive past every day- but their site is taking forever to load so I cant see if its on their website!!0
