Hello
Well im on day 2 of eating healthy, and im doing ok so far!! At the mo Im concetrating more on eating healthy at work and have been doing well- havent even been tempted by the cakes at work!! Have been eating fruit instead of crisps and chocolate and have been eating a salad for my lunch- work is my downfall so I thought if I start off with being good there its a start.
Have emailed a few seamstresses- just to find out when I should be booking it in to altered and when the alterations actually need to be down, am just waiting for replies.
Rach- so glad you enjoyed take that- I cant wait but my work friend saw them last week and said it was too much Robbie, I dont have a problem with that!!!:D
I would quite like some Mrs H pants for either the wedding night or honeymoon!!
Tans- Im not too sure what Im going to do yet-my best friend is doing a spray tan course ina couple of weeks so thats an option- im just worried that fake tan would rub against my lovely ivory dress!! One thing I do need to make sure it that I dont end doing my usual trick and doing what my oh calls my stirling moss face- I wear big sunglasses and always end up with a very noticeable mark from them!!:rotfl:0 -
I'm still umming and aaaahing over weather getting 'I do' decals to stick on the bottom of my shoes
Well done on 2 days of eating well Emma!! I always think these are the hardest days when you start a new routine because it's the closest you'll be to your old habits... the longer you eat healthier for the more 'good' days you have to reflect on and motivate you to keep going.
I have noticed I'm developing faint tan lines of my shoulders from where I've been going running in the sun. Lol I had better give it up next Summer!
I had a bit of a sad thought yesterday - lol once I've got my dress - and have sorted out my accessories, and bouquet there really won't be much else for me to sort outlol.

Once I get going with being good I do ok, I just find I have to be in a certain mindset otherwise I struggle and give in to temptation.
Im sure you will find stuff to do Natalie- and just think- once youve actually got those bits/ ordered them there will be only about a year to go!! Plus Im sure we will all need google help and diet tips and general advice!!0 -
Lol the idea of it being less than a year away is almost causing me to panic!!
... in 2 days time our wedding will be 13 months away - eeeek
6 weeks and 3 days till I go dress shopping0 -
Ive just written a reply and its disappeared!!
I cant wait for the year countdown to start, its been about a year since we actually set the date and it seemed so long away and ive had it in my head once I get to a year to go it will whizz by (it better do anyway!!)
Anyone would think your a tad bit excited about dress shopping- not that I blame you- I would be the same!!
I keep looking on trip advisor every few days and new reviews for our honeymoon hotel keep appearing all giving it 5 out of 5 and saying how fab it is- I cant wait (can you tell i cant think of anything else wedding related to sort!!!:rotfl:)0 -
Ooo I keep forgetting I have a honeymoon to organise - lol still loads of things to keep me busy then!
I did buy some string today from Asda so I can tie loops onto my paper hearts. Lol will probably do that this weekend. (Trying very hard to resist doing it tonight!)
I actually can't remember when we (I) set the date. I *think* it was around Easter last year, but he agreed to marry me in Feb 2010. I've always known the date we'd get married, just not the year lol. If I'd have had my way from the outset we'd have been married July 2010 - when the date of our anniversary fell on the day we met. We met on Saturday 17th July 1999, and would have been married on Saturday 17th July 2010... lol but that would have been rushing it and I think MrD's needed this time to come to terms with it lol. And you can get lost if I'm waiting for the next time it falls on a Saturday! (2017, lol if Saturday 17th July 2017, 17.07.17 does have a nice ring to it!!) :rotfl:0 -
I've just sorted out my favours and place settings all in one :-)
Saw a picture in a magazine of heart shaped cookies with people's names on, and thought they were a good idea. Someone who used to work with my dad is a police officer and is on facebook. She has been baking loads recently and puts really fantastic pictures on. Today she was asking for a heart shaped cookie cutter so after discussing it with h2b I asked if she would be willing to do them for us. She said yes straight away! We haven't discussed prices yet, but I'm guessing (hoping) it will be a lot cheaper than buying favours for everyone!
Haven't thought at all about honeymoon yet (though Disney in Florida crossed my mind the other day!). Would like somewhere where we can relax and just lie in the sun by a pool for a few days aswell though!
Oh, and I've downloaded a wedding countdown on the computer! So I've always got an exact time scale. Currently:
1 year, 1 month, 12 days, 13 hours, 14 minutes, 30 seconds!!!
http://www.customcookieco.co.uk/weddings/wed10.html:j:j Getting married 28th July 2012 :j:j0 -
Oh that is a great idea Rach - and not only should they be cheaper than other favours, you'll also be saving your pennies because you won't have to buy/make place settings!
:T And if she does them anything like the ones in the link - FABBY!
It is 397 days, 16 hours, 4 minutes, 41 seconds until Tuesday, 17 July 2012, 14:00:00 :T0 -
Oh those favours are fab, and thats really good that you know someone that can make them for you.
Well Im pencilled in for dress alterations on 9th April!! (Which is actually my parents wedding anniversary!!) I know its ages away but thought its one less thing to worry about this, and this lady seems really good in responding and said she will give me a quote first- and she said she would have a look at the marks and see if she could get them off without having to pay to have it dry cleaned, thats another tick of my to do list anyway.0
