yeah but the site opens the evening of 13th, so you have to guess the last code word and post here.

I will have to try and find a cheaper alternative for the summer holidays, we usually go abroad but I was hoping to save some money this year.

I have the same problem now with two kids in high school - what I try to do is book a Friday - Monday break that coincides with a bank holiday/school holiday/training day.

If needs be, we set off after school on Friday, and once we returned early on Monday so they got back to school about 10am and didnt miss much.

I've got a priority form -yay!
My daughter is desperate to go to Blackpool Pleasure beach, so am looking at booking October half term (as I will hopefully have enough Tesco vouchers then for the wristbands!)
Anyone got any recommendations for Holiday Parks nearby please?

Haven Marton Mere is fab for Blackpool, a bus runs straight from the site

Oh I'll be here for the guessing game!! If I get it I promise to post it straight on. Maybe when we all log on we should say which letters we're attempting.
Blackpool - I went in November to Marton Mere to see the lights. My van was fine but got lucky and had heating in bedrooms too and thank goodness cos it was freezing!!!! I didn't get entertainment passes and unfortunately everything including the play park meant you had to get past the man on the door!!! We used it as a base to be honest but if there's a lot of you (we were 8) it works out far cheaper to taxi into town. They have a special deal with a local company at a flat rate and worked out way cheaper than paying for 8 of us on a bus.
