Congrats to you all! I'm from Hampshire and we were engaged just before Xmas and have now (today) confirmed venue and church and getting married 28/04/12!!!

Me and my OH are getting married on 7th April 2012.

We have a budget of £7500 (However, already saved over £1500).

Because i prefer to do everything now and not have to think about it for another year i have:

Venue booked
Dress bought
Cars ordered
Photographer ordered
centrepieces ordered
flowers aunty doing them
DT Table decs bought
PM Table decs arranged - need to buy
Balloons ordered
Shoes me & BM To do
BM dresses To do
Mens suits To do
Cake Aunty making cake
Invites OH mate doing £180 for £15 :-)

Erm... I've probably forgot something on my list but its probably organised... :rotfl:

Wow Jenna, that is organised!!! Oops, congratulations by the way!

I've not done anything since booking church and venue. Have recruited bridesmaids and flower girls and that's about it.....must get my backside into gear!

Ooooh... how exciting, loads more people!

Have extended the list in the first post. Noticed we have date twins on the 28th, and a wedding on my little sister's birthday, the 20th.

This weekend has been up and down wedding planning wise...
I bought my sisters bridesmaid dress in a charity shop this week, £9!!! Bargain!!!
My Mum came to see my dress that I LOVE and she hated it.

I'm very excited about going dress shopping with my little sis on Monday, she's home from New Zealand for couple of months so trying to cram in dress and bridesmaid stuff whilst she's here as she won't be coming back again until the wedding

Mum said "It does nothing for you" but the reasoning, when I got to the bottom of it, I think, is because it doesn't fit as it's a sample. Argh!!!

I've got an appointment somewhere else this weekend, but I don't know what to do now as I don't want mother criticising everything I choose and like!

How exciting... 3 months time! Woop!

My wedding is a church wedding, with a reception in a village hall 2 villages away with a BBQ reception, an ice cream cart and a disco in the evening.

So far though only the church is booked!
