That is GORGEOUS! That was the first one that I spotted and thought was stunning.
I was set on a normal tiara, but the more I see the vintage side tiara's, the more I love them. Would probably mean a hairstyle rethink though.First date 10.2.2002

Hello Everyone,
It's my first time on here. I and OH are planning a wedding on a budget so I thought I'd come for tips and suggestions! Date is 7th April 2012. We have'nt decided a venue. I want a village location in Devon (cheaper overall) he wants a hotel in Bristol.
I'm hoping future MIL will support me. Fingers crossed

I'm back again...
I keep planning even in my dreams! OH thinks I'm planning too early. Have decided on a yellow dress - light yellow and a mid calf lenght. I couldn't buy a dress I won't ever wear again.
Colour scheme will be yellow, green and blue cos OH loves blue. Not sure what shade of blue yet any ideas? The yellow will be a light shade and the green pale leaf green.
No bridesmaids or favours. Hoping to do most of the cooking myself with help from sisters.
120 people expected. Am I mad or what?0 -
Absolutely nuts! But welcome to the mad house!
I'm getting married on the 01st April and believe me the planning madness will only gets worse!0 -
Hi, I'm from Manchester and we are getting married on 21st April 2012. It will be a church wedding (booked), with a reception at a local rugby club.
Budget is just £4K. We are going to the club on Monday (it's just provisionally booked at the moment), to get some figures, details etc. My dress will be bought online as will the bridesmaids dresses.
That's as far as I have got really. I look forward to getting lots of tips here! I seem to have spent my whole life planning my wedding but now the time is here I just don't know where to start!0 -

Hello Clairegwen! Welcome to the club!
You've got my old wedding date of the 21st April! :jIt's a great date! I had to change my date because of other family weddings at the same time! I'm now the 1st April! :rotfl:
Our budget is exactly the same so don't hesitate to ask if you need any help with bringing the costs down! You can get a really gorgeous dress off the rail if you look around - the internet can be a little dodgy unless you are getting a second hand one!! I popped into a dress shop the other day and found what I thought was my perfect dress for £99 on sale! I didn't go for it as it was just a little too big to take in, which was a pity!
I held off planning our wedding until I knew he was serious - and since the 14th Feb (when he asked for the second time for me to marry him - actually he set the date for me!) I've done nothing but plan!
Shout if you need some help!0 -
How's the planning coming on? I've had to concentrate on my assingment for the past few days. I'm studying part time as well as working full time and trying to plan a wedding!
Almost 11 months to go!:j yay
I've been railroaded into increasing my budget  budget now 5k. Hoping to use a village hall and church near hall to save people driving around.
I have def seen too many village halls this week! We have to decide soon tho.
Back to work tomorrow! sigh:(0 -
