Hi, I am new to the Wedding thread, we have finally set a date for our wedding after being together almost 8 years! We will be getting married on 28th April 2012, no venue or anything sorted yet, but I live in Dorset

Glad someone else is planning for the same time! Exciting!!!

Where abouts in Dorset are you? I'm near Yeovil, so only just outside of Dorset.

So far I have booked the church, bought my veil, found my dress but not bought it, viewing the village hall with other half in the next week or so, found a photographer and possible caterers.

Can't wait!!!

Hope you dont mind me poping by. Im getting married in 2012 but in July.
Im also from Dorset and getting married in Bournemouth. Would be nice to chat about weddings and where your getting things from for your wedding!!

Course not Lauraloo! Bournemouth is quite a distance from me though, over an hour, but I guess it's sometimes worth travelling for the best bargains!

There are a few in Yeovil. Mine is from Taunton, as he's a friends brother.

I have just bought the ribbon for my invites, because it was a bargain! I had priced up the invites on PDA, and the ribbon was £9.16. I was looking on ebay for smaller samples to have a go with, and found it to be under £6 for double the amount!!! So I have ordered it in silver and purple, thinking I'll have enough to do orders of service too.

Now to persuade PDA to send me a sample pack!!!

I'm from Norfolk and got engaged a couple of weeks ago. No venues booked as yet, but viewing last few this weekend so hopefully can confirm and relax a bit then.
Date we are going for is 21st April 2012.
So glad I'm not the only one yet!

Ooo that is really close to me, I am getting married on 20th and I am from Norfolk too. Although I have booked almost everything already
