I've found it definitely pays to go to the CEO pretty swiftly if Customer Services are faffing or making a hash of it. I've done this with nPower, Pizza Hut, Morrisons, O2 and Tesco and the results have always been better and I never do it unless it's called for as i know someone further down the line may well be getting a bollocking. So wield the power wisely

In Zavvi's case, it's not the poor sod who made the error that deserves a huge earful but whoever decided in their infinite wisdom that a telly was more valuable than cultivating a horrendous reputation!! I suspect the CEO will be having a meeting this morning and knocking heads together. So pleased this has been resolved and justice has been done
