Sit and look at it first LOL. I am not used to having money unaccounted for - although it will be shortly. I will more than likely put it to Virgin who will swallow it up like it never existed.

OR should I treat DH to a lovely meal for our anniverysary which I have just remember as typing this is VERY soon! ie this month! LOL!

  • You should definately treat yourself to an anniversary meal as a little reward. :T

    even if it just a M&S dine in 2 for £10 :D

Do I need it? Can I afford it? Is it cheaper elsewhere?
  • Definitely an anniversary treat I think! DH will be much more grateful than scummy Virgin lol!

I can testify to the yumminess of the M&S dinners - the chips are lush and the cheesecake pud is DIVINE :D

    Morning All!

The yoghurt pot appeared :D no more said LOL.

I think a treat is on the cards too. Never had M&S dine in so may opt for that thanks guys!

May get 2 treats if DH treats me too hahaha.

I've also decided enough is enough with my car which is still poorly. From my PPI money, if it ever arrives, I am going to use £200 to get the brakes fixed and the exhaust changed. I hope to get it cheaper with FIL being a mechanic. Also I would like the scrape on it filling in and the dent in the bumoer knocking out (none of these my fauly btw!) and a valet and new mats. Somehow £200 doesn't seem enough!!!!

I shall prioritise and get it done month by month. I need the car to last me a couple of years yet and I don't think it'll survive this winter without TLC.

  • That does sound a lot of work for the money, hope it appreiates your TLC and behaves for you. Our car is making a noise which hubby says is the wheel bearing, he's made no noises yet tho as to when it needs sorting.

Glad the yogurt pot has turned up without it costing you :T

  • Sounds like things are on the up!

I started a car fund after learning the hard way and coping without one for two months was an absolute nightmare.

Make sure you have a treat and enjoy every second of it.

Hope you get the car sorted - they are always so expensive it seems even for minor fixes. Wish Tesc* would set up "Value Garages" or something :rotfl:
  • or Easy Mech?
Imagine those orange overalls, would be like getting a car fixed off an american convict.
