Yep we are fine just as others are doing and trying to keep our heads above water which we are managing thanks.
Hope DH finds the contract as that should shed some light on the redundancy situation for you. it is so worrying isnt it? - several friends of mine have been made redundant and they are gutted - I really feel for them.
Keep ya chin up hun xx

Hi Mummy, glad you are keeping well and baby no 5 isnt tiring you too much! Dont know how you do it being pregnant with a 2 year old was hard enough!!!
Re the redundancy id say the directgov site is your best bet as its got a calculator etc. Hes not broken his service with them at any point has he? 11 years is a long time, plus if was over 42 (?) he would get a week and a half for every year.
I wonder if they are hoping a few members of staff might jump ship if they think they might be out of a job?
Hope your well anyway x xMummytogirls x0 -
They are only a small company and have 5 (i think) people on the cards as such. DH joined them when they set the company up in 2002 so its 9 yrs not 11 i got it wrong lol - adding a few years to his age lol. I looked on the directgov and got the bits before - he will have 2 years at the 1/2 a week as was only a young one when he joined
and then 7 weeks for the other years so all in would be 8 weeks and its not taxed so thats good - will give us a bit of breating space??
They have said or given the impression that he would be first as he lives a hr away from the other employees and also is one of the higher paid employees so they would save the most money from him going.... (they pay diesel as its driving everywhere in company van) Not sure if they have said anything to the other people who work for the........
Well still not much going on - just plodding along and waiting for baby
My mum has brought the pushchaire for us so thats saves us loads!!!:D cant wait for it to come now and glad I didnt have to make the choice on what one in the end
Had a consultants appointment yesterday and he gave me a sweep - which doesnt seem to be doing anything yet but will see as they say it can take upto 48hrs........... next one is booked for the 2nd may and then the 6th of May.......so watch this space for when baby might come..............................................................................GC: Nov: £60.22/£450 Oct: £338.48/£450, July: £363.05/£450, June £447.98/£500£2 savers No68: £104/£100 :j:jmummy to: 8yr, 5yr, 3yr, 2yr, 1yr.
