Ok so it is the weekend. Mr C is heading back to his parents again tomorrow and I will be "home alone". I feel completely ready for a weekend of lonesomeness in a good way. I have been pondering some things and so I will be doing an action plan for the weekend. This should help me get things moving forward for the future. Problem is Mr C is only setting off mid morning and coming back Sunday tea time so all of the jobs I have planned will need to be crammed into a very short amount of time. Here we go some of the things I have considered.
    Garden
    • list greenhouse on freecycle
    • remove all the old plants from the pots and send them North for Mr C senior to plant up with his homegrown stuff
    • take the scythe to the overgrown bits at the side and round the back

    ]Home
    • send the summer tyres north with Mr C for storage in Mr C snrs garage
    • remove all of the excess from the "room of doom" - work out where to put it all (redistribute around the house)
    • move beds into ex "room of doom" to create a guest room
    • work out how to put together the night storage heater that has been dismantled and put it back on the wall in the living room
    • move the bookcases from the office to the lounge (only the ones with the personal books etc on)

    ME
    • long hot soak in a bubble bath tonight
    • 1 hour on line photography course
    • 1 hour practising what I learn on the photography course
    • wear high heels for at least one hour this weekend
    • read the magazines that I have been saving up - will do this in bed with a cup of hot chocolate!

    For Others
    • choose which friend/family to write to this weekend
    • sort out 3 packages for posting

I love the wear high heels, I've done that in the past too, need to revisit and up the height now too :) I was in flatties for years, gradually building up the heel height and surprisingly the confidence came with it too :) Ok now more confident in the flatties too :)

    Enjoy the pamper etc :)

Ah, thanks everyone. SE I love heels with a passion. Mr C is just about the same height as me though so I tend to live in flatties and only wear heels when out and about on my own. I am also on my feet a lot when working out and about so no heels there. So this weekend I am going to go through my shoe stash which I refuse to get rid of and wear a pair for one whole hour just because I can! Totally get the confidence thing. I also feel very glam and sexy in heels. Mr C says he really couldnt care if I am taller than him but I do.

“Productivity is never an accident. It is always the result of a commitment to excellence, intelligent planning, and focused effort.”

And with that in mind I am going to do a TADA LIST
    HOME
    • 2 lots of washing done and out to dry
    • cooked breakfast to see Mr C on his way
    • Walked Moo in the forest
    • washed all the dishes from the last two days (I know but I have been busy) and put them away
    • scrubbed kitchen worktops
    • brushed and mopped kitchen floor

None of this was on my Home list for the weekend but hey ho it is now all done.
    ME
[*]checked out a few new blogs and bookmarked some things to read up on - all downshifting and frugal blogs
    [*]showered
[*]walked Moo in the forest (ok listed twice but covers all lists)
[*]one hour on the photography course [/COLOR]

Not too bad fro 1pm but still lots to do. Turning internet off and setting alarm for 3 and heading to the room of doom
I may be some time :rotfl::rotfl:

Phew - 2 hours in the room of doom and it is now empty of everything! - All relocated to
    • loft
    • study
    • kitchen
    • main bedroom
:eek::eek: That means I have to sort it all out in each room and each room looks  but I have a cunning plan!! No it isnt to do nothing (baldrick). One room at a time, items relating in each room. Todays frog is the room of doom.
this time in two hours I will
    • have brushed, hoovered, dusted and mopped all cobwebs away
    • have put down the carpet that is propped up against the wall
    • have moved the two beds back and place them in bedroom
    • have put up a lampshade

First though a cup of tea and slice of cake. :)

Phew - another hour in the room of doom and I now have beds in there and curtains and a lampshade!!! All recycled from my previous home so No spends there at all. :j:j
I couldnt lay the (left over from the stairs and hall)carpet because it was too long one way and too short the other (yes I did think to turn it :rotfl:) Still I can always put rugs down (ooo a nice stripey one).

I have twin beds but all I can say is when OH bought this house as a two double bedroomed house he was done! They just about fit with no wiggle room to get between them and no side edges to walk along.:rotfl: Although a fair bit of space at the bottom of the room which means that I can, at least, put a wardrobe in there.

Now for another cuppa, have a watch of the iplayer (maybe escape to the country) whilst sorting through a box that I have liberated from the no longer room of doom. Already found the tea set that I got from my Nan for a wedding present. Forgot I had it.
