if you have the balls why dont take the poster out of the display when the item on special offer , put it your bag , then return one week later put poster back in the display.... then buy the item.......

And then how quickly would you complain about being banned or made to "feel like a criminal" if you didnt get your refund?????

There are plenty of genuine refunds out there without resorting to these sort of actions.

Have been in several small stores and had trouble locating the holy blue poster.

Messes up my "i've just read this sign while u kept me waiting" routine ;)

So can anyone point out places to look please ?

Very often one on tobacco kiosk, by the till. Occasionally by ordinary tills, a bit smaller than A4, usually stuffed behind the leaflets for insurance etc, or on the poles by the tills

  • Tesco staff MUST be knackered, as i have visited a "few" T's recently...to find the meat section covered in yellow "re-price" stickers...I'm not kidding...I counted steak, legsa lamb, whole ducks, skinless chicken breasts, finest fillet, etc etc...!!

We post the mis prices...then, it seems T's look at the site, then e-mail all the stores...then the staff hit the aisles with those ruddy stickers.
Thought i had a load of chichen (that WAS mispriced) ... put it in the trolley, with other legit shopping, to be pounced upon by a member of staff in Colchester demanding i hand her the chicken, so i "can save money, by having it reduced"...as it's overpriced...!!
I asked her what was going on with all the yellow stickers..."we get messages from T's informing us of "mistakes".
...Put the chicken back after she had gone...so much for £45 of free meat...!!

Oh...AND the ATTITUDE of some of the CS "trolls" ... Had a chat the other day with one ... who got VERY stroppy about having to refund £36 ... So I GOT VERY stroppy back, saying how rude she was and how would she like it if i advertised something at say £10, then at the till charged her £10.69?
She calmed down and agreed with me.

That policy is a "get out of jail free" card, as LOADS of people (usually elderly, without computers) are being overcharged all the time, so what we try to get - free is TINY in comparison...!!

£2.2 BILLION profit for the last 12 months is an outrage.

Ahhhhh ... Fell a lot better now ... BUT IT'S RAISED A VALUABLE POINT.

    thanks Dude,
the unnerving thing was the CS Manager didnt appear himself, and they werent disputing the misprice, simply said he wouldnt honour it as i was taking advantage of the policy and he was goin to pursue it with HO....
will take your advice, shame really is its almost literallly on my doorstep!

Try a visit after 1930 - most stores have CS desks open until 2000 and the day staff have usually gone bt 1900ish....

the holy poster was kindly pinted out to me in one store. cs was at fag counter, poster was on wall at back of tills, so no chance of seeing from cs. however in this case, cs told me of policy and to go read poster while waiting for refund lol.

    "Taking advantage of THEIR policy"

It's their policy ... You WERE overcharged, so STAND YOUR GROUND...!!

An overcharge is an overcharge ... and a policy is a policy.
Your rights are unaffected, so you should have had a R&R...!!

This is simply staff following the proper routines, nothing knackering about it, actually a job being done properly.

This does not happen. No emails are recieved instore either directly or indirectly as a result of anything that is posted on this site. If you read back on different types of misprice you will understand why emailing all stores the misprices is not feasible.
