Well YOU obviously work for Tescos.

Sarky comments like above say it all.

For your infomation...I have ALWAYS shopped at Tescos, and spend, on average £120 per week...and have done so for many years as my 3 kids eat me out of house and home.

Meat was always a luxury ... then to be overcharged by, in one case £7.50 is, i think an outrage, as it gets swallowed up with all my other shopping...that i have loyally bought from Tescos...!!

How would you feel? Advertising (SEL) for £20, but sneakly charging me £27.50 at the checkout...!!

I tell EVERYONE i meet now...even dear old folk in the meat aisle...helping them to save even more.

I always thought the price on the shelf is what i was going to be charged...UNTIL i got an e-mail from a friend linking this forum site.

It kinda looks like i have been overcharged A HELL OF A LOT over the last decade...So how about cutting some slack...!!

It's Tescos policy (to avoid massive fines), so we are doing NOTHING WRONG.

I was thanking you for your contribution to the tesco profits, my wages and the share price, it was not sarcastic, merely an observation that you point out the size of the profits and claim that it is an outrage yet you CHOOSE to help to increase them - hypocrisy? - you decide. And for the record I have never made any attempt to hide who i am employed by.

Read back through the threads, I have never defended overcharging and never will, i have not said that legitimate r&rers are doing anything wrong and have never said that people should not claim r&r and in fact many referees of people that i have helped can be provided.

Cut some slack? You are the one that has posted complaining that prices are right and that a staff member wanted to make sure you were charged correctly and i am supposed to cut you some slack?!

Right - who is going to confess that they had my Iams dry cat food from Beaumont Fleas in Leicester. Had it set up for an out of date SEL biggy, so bit annoyed someone got there before me again. But if you snooze you lose....

Its so the bulk of the PID function can be carried out on the shop floor (which is where its gonna end up anyway, tbh), cutting down on office space and wasted time. Plus it gives more staff on the floor to help the glorious public
