what the best way to find an r+r on the books...as most at the moment seem to have a penny difference between the sel and the sticker and seem to scan at the lower price?

do they normally scan at the sticker price or sel?

See above post! It doesn't work when you quote someone who already wrote in lower case. The whole lot, including quotes, has to be in caps.

Is it safe to ask for some advice ?

Spotted a reasonable dinner R&R today in a small local.
Didn't see the big blue sign that reads :

" And when things don't add up, in the likley event we overcharge you, its free so long as you read MSE

So the misprice is 1p on the pound and 2p on the kilo ( 2.2 pounds = 1 kilo

Didn't feel comfortable arguing out a penny or two, what would you guys do ?

I'm just (ill-advisedly) defending people Who Type Like This because they actually don't. But the fact that they originally typed all in caps isn't gaining them any points, really.
