the bad thing about this being members can give fake email address's, ask me to manually activate them, which i normally do, and if their a nuisance, i have a problem

I started posting it because so many people were asking for it via PM. I could see no point in keeping it to PM's, although I did attract a few messages from people who thought I should not post it so Tesco did not find out Given I got the link from your profile, Laura, I guessed you were not too fussed :cool:

The other reasons are as I said in the PM I sent you.

The Mods showed a bit of an interest in the thread and my Sig got wiped then Oh well, it was only a matter of time

I doubt very much that I will join. I don not tend to gate-crash where I am not welcome (not from yourself, the other users). Besides, it would give you access to my IP and Email address...not sure I like that Its not just r & r's that can be a little paranoid

Before I posted my comments I had read the saga - however, I read between the lines. I know many tesco employees and like the rest of Joe Public, if they are charged incorrectly, they are able to claim, and claim, their statutory rights. I believe this person is genuinely aggrieved through being treated differently. If they were not genuine, they would just accept the situation - you win some you loose some and certainly not make a fuss on this forum. 99% of tesco employees are not aware of incorrect pricing in their stores, most just come in, do their job and go home and indeed all of Tesco's current financial success is based on that.

Laura offered her site a few months back when this thread got closed.

It has now continued to be used after a wave of the usual paranoia hit the thread, as a way of talking about miss prices without Tesco seeing.

The idea behind this new site: i made it months ago, bit of a laugh, bit of discussion, joking about, mainly me and mates really. Partially about simcards but not really anymore, i alter it when i want to, with all stuff i want to. I knew the tesco area here was under attack and a member suggested building their own forum. Knowing just how long it takes to make, or at least make pretty, structured etc i decided to build them their little bit on mine, to be nice. The idea being tesco cares less coz its so small, and apparently less argumentative. I never imagined so many of you would join, and didn't want it to cause any problems for the BG's here, or to take over in any way.

I don't r and r, its there for those who want to thats all. I don't think me having ur email address or ip is a huge concern but ok.

PLEASE IF YOU HAVE NOT RECEIVED VERIFICATION EMAIL, POST THAT IN THE VERIFICATION EMAIL BIT OF MY FORUM. I so rarely read this thread i will have no idea if your having problems. You can post in there as a guest, without registering.

I've got a fault with an Xbox 360 I got from Tesco, anyone know if they'll fix it for me if i've lost the reciept please?

No, you are going to need some sort of proof of purchase.

Edit - Don't MS repair them under the garantee? I'm sure I have read of people contacting them direct and sorting it that way. Documentation would have been in the box.
