Tesco misprice discussion area part 13

Visited two stores the other day. Woman in the queue at C/S with mispriced steak was given the difference back. After she had gone one csa said to the other something like, the things people will do for a few pence. The other one laughed & said, yeah, but we saved £4.57. Obviously meant it should have been an R&R, but customer not aware of policy!
In the other store someone asking about when new PSP/Xbox games stock comes in. He was told 'on a Friday, & thats when all the prices on them change'. Don't know if that info has been posted before. If not, hope it helps.0 -
Whilst I was RnR'ing yesterday, an oldish lady was behind me, when they went to check my prices, CS didn't utter a word to her that she could have kept her stuff and got a refund, she was just refunded as she said, "I am not paying that much" When she went CS bod, looked at me, I looked at them and shook my head, I was hoping my refund could have been sorted out a bit quicker so that I could go and tell the old lady, but she was well gone after my LARGE refund! So I think I may get some little cards printed, saying "read the bottom of the big blue board" then I can slip them to anyone in the q, discreetly!Sig ah Sig Ahhh0

Deedee, don't you go with csa when they check the labels then?
I've often told people about the policy when instore, never anywhere near C/S desk, or a store employee tho. Had one couple wait outside to thank me, cos i pointed out a steak misprice & how to go about getting it. They were absolutely delighted cos it was something they could not usually afford. Told them about MSE as well!0 -

Or I hope... while the CS woman went to check the misprice... I told the customer about her rights. I also told her to stick to her guns... as they might just want to give her the difference.! I hope she did I had to go but was pleased I pass on the message. I also her the CS talking to supervisor... I will give her the differnce she will be pleased! ... little did she know that I had already briefed the customer0 -

I think CSA's not telling customers the policy is the biggest driver for me and many others still r'n'ring because they know they are ripping people off and the act as if it is their money.Mr T is by far the biggest over-charger I have ever known (I generally check my receipt) so fook them!0 -
LOL
I sil hates Mr T and will never buy there! but she is soooooooo pleased when I get my R&R.... Rock on!0 -

I have gone through the 2005 and 2006 store locator and added all extra, normal and metro stores that are listed in there.
I may post a link at some point
that'd be awesome if I could have that please!0 -
By the way when I left the store I made sure that I told the CS that I hoped they had refunded the customer as it was Tesco policy!0

Noticed the 'orange razor' cardboard display this morning with two different prices still on it. Didn't need it and was too intent on buying loads of BOGOFs with a fistfull of vouchers.
Came away getting 4p change out of a fiver!!
Every little helps, (that reminds me, I must update my sig)0
