Morning All!
Hope you didn't miss my Friday update too much?... I had a nice long weekend off work. Well, why not? ;O)
I am back now and signature all updated. Have rounded my bank account down again, so that is an extra £1.27 winging its way to the Iceland fund.
Need to buy my road tax and pay for my MOT today.
Need to find a new online betting account for The Grand National this weekend. I like having a little flutter... but prefer to know my stake is covered by some cashback in case it al goes horribly wrong! lol
Right, I have loads to do (the downside of having a Friday off!) - so I had better get on with it!
Hope everyone had a great weekend ... and all you mums were spoilt rotten?? xstart = Wed 19th Nov 2008 £21,225

Good afternoon Folkes - welcome to Friday!
Things to report....- I have logged online and money has been moved to where it should be.
- Have opened a new betting account for the Grand National tomorrow. Even if everything I have backed loses... I should still return a £7 profit care of Q.co.
- MOT passed and paid for.
- Car Tax bought.
- Nothing from the speed camera people - fingers crossed that's it gone now! Phew!!
Have a great weekend, and I hope (if you are having a flutter on the GN) that you are all winners! xstart = Wed 19th Nov 2008 £21,225

Happy Friday Everyone!
Today saw the last of my wages arrive for the 2013-14 tax year, so next Friday will be the first of this tax year.... Waiting rather impatiently to see what the change in tax allowance coupled with the repayment of the under-payment for 2012-13 does to my wage. Still no news on the pay rise!!
Booked 2 hotel rooms last night for a business trip last night. Work paid..... and I have got £17.48 tracked on Q.co for the privilege!! he he he! Every little helps! Have updated my signature to show total outstanding for Q.co. This is all going to Iceland fund. Today I transferred £10.15 to the same fund (that's an extra 15p generated by rounding down my account! lol). I have a money bag in my handbag that I putting all my little change into. Micro-managing my loose change count was a little too much even for me. So I will now keep collecting it and then add it up every now and then when I put it in my piggy-bank!
Fixed my gas and electricity for the next 14 months. My fixed deal was due to end... but luckily enough I managed to re-fix with the same provider for the same monthly cost. Happy days!
Transferred some survey points into Nectar points... so that is 1000 added to my balance (not sure what it is though!)
OH and I went food shopping together last weekend. This is quite unusual for us as one of us pops to the supermarket whilst the other is doing something equally interesting like housework! This joint venture was actually quite enjoyable and OH was actively looking for the best priced items... not just cheapest shelf edge price... but price per weight / unit etc. I was most impressed with him!!
And, as I can't think of anything else to bore you all with... that is it from me for now!

Nectar points up to a value of about £17.00.
First weeks wages of the new tax year... I worked a couple of hours overtime last week... and overall I am 92p down on a comparable wage slip from last tax year. So not too sad I suppose considering this is the balance of my underpayment and the new tax codes!

Morning All!!
How lax of me for not posting last Friday - sorry!
£1.08 has been received from Q.co and this morning I have requested payment of another £33.48. Hopefully this will be with me before the end of the week! I 'owe myself' £14.87 from this to cover my W/Hill bets. So combined, that is £18.61 winging its way to the Iceland fund. Building up quite nicely!!!
Had a 'standard' weeks wages last week. I am £1.12 a week down due to the tax adjustment. Not too sad I suppose. Spreadsheet all updated.
We are away this weekend visiting OH's family in Plymouth, so food shopping was limited. I do need to pick up some more lettuce, cokes and cereal bars tonight after work... but we should be ok for the rest of the week.
And, I think that is it. All very boring to be honest!!
I will be back to update on Thursday as I am off on my travels on Friday.
Have a great week all! x x xstart = Wed 19th Nov 2008 £21,225
