Iceland fund coming along nicely, are you still on target?

    Weight loss: 1.5lbs
  • Happy (if somewhat wet) Friday everone! *waves*

Well, I have been online and just as I expected everything that was due to move... has moved and I have moved the additional £10 to the Iceland fund.
Iceland fund coming along nicely, are you still on target?

My target sheet says that as of today there should be £180.00 in there, so I am £15.31 behind... not to worry, once my next lot of OT is in and I have finished the next stint of house + dog sitting (that starts tomorrow) and I have sorted out the CC... then I am pretty confident that this can be topped up as necessary. There is also the money from Q.co to in there as well! Oh, and I am still waiting for the cheque from the first round of house-sitting!! Must chase that today!

Last night (in a bid to further streamline my bank accounts and 'available' credit) I applied online to close an old CC that I have not used for about 4 years... I love online facilities.... you can do sooo much, but you can't close an account without having to talk to someone!!! Another job for today!

Right, must get on... so much actual work to do!!

Happy Saturday everyone - this is my 4th working Sat on the trot. Only next week to go (regular Sat in work) and then back (hopefully) to just every other!!

Well, yesterday I went to see a mortgage advisor!!! And the up-shot is (rather scarily) they are in principle willing to lend us a HUGE amount of money. The downside to this is that although they think we can afford the monthly repayments... in the real world we can't.

It does mean that I now know what kind of price range I need to be looking at for a house.... unfortunately I don't really like any of the houses that would be affordable :O(

But, it is a starting point!!

I have just taken 2p out of my purse to put into the Iceland fund!! YAY

11p added to the Iceland fund over the weekend - and an extra £10 added today (part of the difference in the reduced cost of my car insurance!)

    House-sitting well under way.

Have just worked out the CC bill - have enough money to pay my share!! Always nice!

Popped my OT sheet in at work today - that will be with me on Friday... Spreadsheet already updated though, so no tweaking on Friday there :O(

And that, my friends is pretty much all from me for now!

    Have a good Monday! x

    Happy Sunny Friday everyone!

Nice to see a bit of sun for a change!

Well, as is the custom now, I have checked my banking, moved my weekly £10 to Iceland, checked my OT has been paid and everything matches my spreadsheet.

Been looking at more houses online - seriously need to rein in my ideas.... or win a decent chunk of money!! lol Definitely "dreaming of a mansion with a decent sized house budget!!"

House and dog sitting ends tomorrow - get to go home!! YAY! And it means there will be some cash coming my way in the next few days. Still need to chase for my money from the stint I did a couple of weeks ago. Ho-hum, I know they are good for it, so it will arrived at some point. I think I may send a subtle text today though just to give them a nudge.

The 5% interest on my N.Wide account has ended - I need to find another account to use. Another job to do!! :O)

And, I still need to decide what to do with my car. Oh - decisions decisions!!

Right, that is all from me for now. I hope you all get a chance to enjoy the sunshine this weekend! Nats x
