    The good.
Additional money acquired = £324.92 instead of the predicted £210.00
Was told yesterday that there is a pay-rise coming my way in the next couple of months. No idea how much or when - but still, its coming!!

    The bad.
Got OH to fill in a comprehensive online form last night to evaluate our money situation. Currently we have £142.00 spare a month after everything is paid (and I do mean everything... this is including all debts, credit card payments, birthdays, days out, lottery, takeaways... everything. So now need to see what we can reduce and see what affect it has on the surplus!! OH was quite horrified, I was pleased we had some spare!!

    The ugly.
Waiting for notification of a speeding ticket to come through. So that will (hopefully be no more than) 3 points and £60 or £85 to go on a speed awareness course. First offence in 12 years and I was FUMING after it flashed. Still pretty annoyed with myself now!! Hopefully they will offer the course and it wont have an impact on my car insurance premium!!

Hey-ho that's the way it goes!!

    Happy Friday everyone!

Payday again, so have played around with my spreadsheet - took all of about 30 seconds as everything has its moving orders. Nice when it does as its told though!

    £10 moved to Iceland fund.

Only new thing to report this week is I have applied for a loan to buy my car. The finance package expires next month and I have decided to keep the car, which means clearing the balloon payment. Loan has been approved and it means that my monthly repayment is slightly less... although I will have to take out breakdown cover etc as that package runs out next month too!! There is always something!

I am off this weekend - my first full weekend off in 6 weeks! YAY!! Hoping for a bit of sunshine!

    Have a great weekend everyone!! x x x

12p added to Iceland fund over the weekend.

Have sent back my form for the loan to buy my car and have updated my spreadsheet to show new repayment amount. Need to track down some breakdown and recovery cover. Also, need to look at the cost for some extended warranty for the vehicle.

And there was me getting my knickers in a twist about having to pay back the taxman.... and I totally forgot that there is an increase in the personal tax allowance this year (up to £10,000) anyway, so that should offset some of the extra he was going to take (fingers crossed).

    Morning All!

Well, here I am - it's Friday again! YAY!

Have moved the usual £10 to Iceland and then topped it up with an odd £4.40 from my current account - going to try this rounding down malarkey.... just worried that I will round too much and run out of money... so, rounding on a Friday only!

I have cancelled the SO used to repay OH and set up a new one going to a different account. Need to close my old NW account so I can open another one somewhere.

Odd SO set up on my bank account... it looks like it should be the repayment for my car loan... but the figure and payee are totally wrong. Have emailed the man setting up the loan just to check!!

Have a great weekend all! x

    Morning All!

Another sunny morning here... and it was still vaguely light at half six last night... clocks spring forward this weekend!!

Notification of £2.60 to be paid from Q.co this week = straight to Iceland fund.

Car goes in for some warranty work and its first MOT this Friday. MOT's on special offer @ £29.99 ... so hoping nothing needs doing to make it pass. Saying that, I think there will be an advisory on my rear tyres... need to work out a way to buy them... approx £500.00.

Nothing come through yet from the speed camera! Fingers crossed that there is nothing at home tonight as today is the 2 week deadline for notification.

Had notification last week of a small increase in our council tax - so spreadsheet updated.

Nothing else on the payrise front.

Added some more change to the Iceland fund at the weekend: just can't quite remember how much, so need to have a good count up!! (I am probably only out by about 5p, but it is annoying!!)

Want to know what my take-home pay will be in the new tax year... there is no way I can work it out though, what with the increase in personal allowance and then the deduction for under-payment last year.

Managed 2 hours OT last week - Spreadsheet updated with anticipated extra amount.

And that, it my Monday morning update!!!
