Need to speak to my step-dad though as he as a Z0pa account and apparently can get something for referring me (will do that tonight!)

House-sitting is going ok.... feel like a very little pea rattling around in a very big shell!!

    Morning All!

29p added to the Iceland fund from shrapnel in my purse... balance creeping up nicely!!

Applied online for a Z0pa lending account yesterday - apparently they couldn't confirm who I am through the usual channels (such as Experian, electrol role etc) so now I have to send them proof of living at my address (only been there just under 9 years!! lol). Popped home least night and whilst I was there picked up the paper part of my driving licence as they will accept a copy of that! Will pop it in the post today and then hopefully in the next week or so I can transfer my money in and start earning some interest on it. Not that its a lot of interest.... if I leave the £50 alone and don't put any more in - then in 5 years I should have about £64 in there!! Whoop Whoop! Doesn't sound a lot, but compared to the £1.50 or so I would get from my old NS&I account it is a huge amount!

I might try and trickle more money in as and when I can!!

Right, that is it from me for now!

    Happy Wednesday everyone! x

    Good sunny morning All!

Well, money is behaving and I have moved my weekly £10 to the Iceland fund. I could set it up to move automatically, but the I really would have nothing to do each week!!!

And that (sadly) is all I can think of. Once I get paid for house-sitting I can play around with my spreadsheet a bit and see where it leaves me!

Have a cracking weekend everyone - I hope to (the Rugby is on to start - and I will be heading home!).

    Nats x

Still need to post the copy of my driving licence off to Z0pa... must do that today!

Not a lot else to report.. house sitting is almost over (thank goodness!) - lovely house, very isolated though and I am missing my OH and my own bed!

  • Just handed back the keys from last weeks house-sitting.... £100 coming my way (and a lovely bunch of tulips)!! Whoop whoop! Will see what this months CC bill is and how much I need to use toward it (hopefully none!) and then split what is left between me and the Iceland fund!! Oooh, I like having to do something with my money... it justifies another spreadsheet play!!
