Hello everyone!

Well, it's Moneyday today (I have renamed Fridays!!) and everything has been shifted around as usual. Work forgot to pay me my small amount of OT. Not a problem, except that my spreadsheet is a finely tuned machine and I had to do some re-adjustments (not that I mind playing around with my spreadsheet too much!). I will get the OT next Moneyday instead.

More items on fleabay - hoping these will do better. Really not worth my effort otherwise!!!

Still scouring for bargainous christmas presents - there have been some good deals around... just not for items that I can give to people!

Hi All! Moneyday again today.

Money all shifted around - nothing exciting at all to say. Have bought another festive present (not comfortable wth the c word this early in the year!) and that is about it!!

CC needs paying this weekend - always a joyous experience!!

Oh, and I am going to change the bank account that the household bills come out of. There is a Q.co offer of £60 and it offers cashback on your DD's!! Seems worth it to me!!!

Good Moneyday All!

This day doesn't half seem to come round quick (although, it could do with coming round twice as often to be honest)!!!

Well, online banking done, money moved around, and scheduled some of it to move back again on Monday. Have updated my signature with my new ebay total and I am now down to 83 payments left to OH!

Listed another 2 items on fleabay last night. Well... you never know do you!?

Currently house-sitting, so next weekend I should hopefully receive my 'living expense reimbursement'. That'll be nice.

We are spending Christmas at a friends this year - there will be quite a few of us, so the expense of the main days food will be spread between us... bonus!!

Need to get my arris in gear and apply to change the 'house account' over to S*nt*nders 123 account - there is £60 bonus currently available over on Q.co which I am sure runs out pretty soon! I LOVE free money.

Should get a chunk of OT money in next weeks pay too!

And that is about if from me. Where is everyone? It's getting kinda quiet!!

sounds like it's all busy busy busy, funily enough we're moving away from Sant..... to FD, just waiting for the DD's to move across and OH and myself to get our free money and then it's a joint account and i can close Sant....

Hi!

I must be strange LT - simply because I changed to FD years ago and had nothing but problems (despite that fact that they are rated for their customer service) and since I've been with Sant (which people slate), no problems at all...

.... until today when I logged on to my account to make sure some money had arrived and I noticed that I had a charge of £25... all because a DD that has left my account on the 9th of each month for the past 18 months, left on the 8th of October and the money to cover it didn't arrive until the next day (well, why would it?) One message sent to Sant to see what they have to say and to get the £25 refunded, but I think that I will probably have to contact the pepople the DD paid too. Whos fault is it anyway??? Anyway, was not pleased as it also meant that I had an OD charge for one day. Have asked for that back as well!

Right, back to work I go. Hope your DD change-over goes smoothly LT!! x

Well, I must say that I am pretty impressed with Sant so far - one secure message to them this morning - just received a very nice reply saying that as a good will jesture they will refund the charges, but as the money was claimed a day earlier by the third party, I might want to contact them... so I did. It would appear that the DD has always been set up for the 8th of the month, which is when they apply for it, but Sant have never sent the money from my account until the 9th. Strange though that although it went out early in Oct, it was make on the 9th for Nov. Hey-ho ... I will never know - I have updated my spreadsheet to show the DD coming out on the 8th... I would rather that that have to go through this again!

Now all I need is for Sant to refund the money as offered and all will be ok!!!

And.... KERCHING! Money refunded by Sant and back in my account this morning! Bonus!!

Happy Days!! And, it's only 2 days to Moneyday too! Ooh, and house-sitting is over this Friday - doubly Bonus!!!

Good Moneyday to you All!

Hope you have not all been blown away with these gales we've had (and down here in the S.East, its not been half as bad as other places!).

Well, money has been checked and moved accordingly.

What gets me is that I put in OT for £100 (before tax, NI etc) and out of that, I received..... £59! That's a deduction of 41%! (usual deduction is around 25%). Ho-hum - every little helps.

Toying with the idea of coming into work for 4 hours tomorrow - that'll be a bit more in next weeks wages! :O)

Really need to get my arris in gear regarding christmas..... or, before I know it, there will be a week to go and I will be running around like a headless chicken in a mass panic (as has happened so many times in the past! lol)

Right, loads to do here - after a slight lull at work last week, it would now everyone has come back to life and they all want everything, now!!

Morning All!

25 SLEEPS TO CHRISTMAS!!!

Well, it's money day again - everything is where is should be which is nice!

Need to factor in 2.5 days holiday before we close for christmas.

Festive shopping is well under way - and everything has been a bargain (so far any way).

Thats it for now!!!!

Oh, except to say that A&L had the nerve to send me a letter and pamphlet to 'manage my finances' - well, don't take DD's on the wrong date!!!! lol x
