Well, I am here to report the most exciting debt-busting thing that has happened in a while..... I have fixed our gas and electric prices until 2014 and possibly saved upto £16 a month in doing so!!

Morning All!
Well, I have had notification that my Gas and Elec combined bill will be reduced by £16 from next month. I am pretty certain that this will slowly increase over time ... as this seems to be the way with these companies!!
I am pleased with my debt repayment LT - as I think I've said before, once I get down to 89 payments to go.... I will be happier, will be the back of it broken.
Off work next week - have traded in a chunk of clubcard vouchers and we have bought...
2 x annual Merlin passes (one each for me and OH)
2 x annual Legoland passes (one each for DSS and his brother)
2 x single day passes for Chessington (one each for DSS and his brother)
Bargain!!! lol

Hi All!
I am still in the land of the living (and indeed in the land of budgeting and repayments).
Not a lot to report though - just for a change....- Have taken out new contents insurance and managed to get it for just 21p a month more than last year (not bad considering we are with the same people who wanted to charge us an extra £2.50 a month to renew!)
- Been on holiday..... brrr, it's cold back here!
- hopefully there will be some overtime coming up at work.
Have a great weekend everyone - Saturday is supposed to be ok weather-wise... go and enjoy it!! xstart = Wed 19th Nov 2008 £21,225

Morning All!
Have had an email this morning to say that my Q.co money has been paid, so will move that around tomorrow.
Have just raised a claim with Q.co for the £80 cashback on my new car insurance policy... was chuffed to see this offer as the insurer concerned was also £73 cheaper than my current provider (with the same level of cover and extras!)
Will update tomorrow - as it's Friday!! xstart = Wed 19th Nov 2008 £21,225

I love a good plan - it may not work.... but I love a good plan!0 -
Good morning All!
Where is everyone? In a way though I makes me feel a bit better about not posting as much!!
Online banking done and dusted... Q.co money moved and all excess from my current account moved to my old current account - this is definitely a work in progress, but all the time I am moving money in and out of it, the interest is lower than not doing it at all!
Free listing this weekend on fleabay - we are planning on having a bit of a major sort out (again) this weekend, so hoping there will be some time on Sunday to at least get some bits listed.
Now todays question is "do I need more shoes / boots?" The reason for this is there is a social buying site offering a £50 voucher for £20. Now this seems like a bargain to me..... but do I need any more? The deal is active for a few more days, so I can carry on pondering I 'spose.
Right, off to do some work!! Have a great weekend all! xxx Nats xxxstart = Wed 19th Nov 2008 £21,225
