Ooo I like the sound of OH (in a :money:way!)
The simple life so appeals to me (without Paris Hilton obviously!)
I read some good things about consumerism I'll get back to you on this

Lol - Fridays seem to come round really quick! Not sure about 'rocketing' though!
Hands off my OH! He's mine, all mine!
And there was me thinking you would make a great Nicole Ritchie to my Paris Hilton!!Not sure we would ever get to the chicken keeping stage of 'the good life' but I am 100% behind OH to make changes!! (how long has it taken?? lol)

nat you have to give men time, lots of time. Then they start to think that such things are their idea and are therefore the most amazing ideas in the world lol0

Too true - oh, so very true! And my OH is just like that - I just nod in all the right places and agree (what I really feel like doing is smashing his head against a wall and screaming "how long have I been saying this?!!!") lol :rotfl:start = Wed 19th Nov 2008 £21,225

Good morning one and all!
Well, my car is currently getting a free wash..... It's raining quite hard - I don't mind, my car was filthy, and now it will be a little bit cleaner!
So, on Friday I withdrew £50 for food and spends for this week, and had about £5 left from last week = £55.00
Went to the pub Friday night (not drinking alcohol in January!) and left with a total of £67.00! YAY!
Various bits and pieces spent over the weekend and now have £21.10 left in my purse (including playing poker last night and coming 2nd in the second game, returning me a £1.20 profit on my night out! lol). This £21.10 includes having set aside £29.00 for half of the food shop - OH paid on Tesco CC, so I have put £29.00 into an envelope, and come this Friday I will withdraw £30 less then usual and transfer £30 to my savings account to put towards the CC bill. (well it makes sense in my head!)
Nothing else really to report - Ooooh, except I ordered a copy of 'The Shred' on Sat.... and it arrived this morning!!! A workout DVD that is supposed to have you collapsed in a heap on the floor in 20 mins! I generally find workout DVD's too cheesey, dull and uninspiring - so I am hoping this 'bootcamp' style will appeal more to me!! I will let you know how I get on!!
Might not get a chance to go on it tonight though, as I may be playing nurse-maid to OH. We went out for a walk yesterday and DSS took his scooter. Well, lets just say that OH decided to re-live his youth..... only to survive falling off the first time (think landing and rolling in secret agent style!) to fall off again, backwards whilst trying to wheelie, landing on his elbow and back. Elbow has two large egg shaped lumps on it - but no joy in convincing him he should get it x-rayed. Left him in bed this morning, he was adament he was going to work, but I think that a lack of sleep (waking up every time he moved) and the fact that I don't think he is going to be able to change gear in the car, means he will probably be off today! MEN - Pah! lol
Right, off to do some work (by that I mean catch up on diaries and have a general browse around!)start = Wed 19th Nov 2008 £21,225

You can look after OH for me - any time!! :rotfl:I tried to convince him again that he needs to get it x-rayed, but no! I did toy with the idea this morning of poking his elbow to make my point - but thought that was a little too cruel!
The DVD had rave reviews all over *famous river in South America* so I am looking forward to being worked to within an inch of my life!
Hopefully I won't be in quite the same pain as OH after - or OBNW will have to come and look after me too!start = Wed 19th Nov 2008 £21,225
