Ok! So it's a New Year - but the same old me ... and indeed the same old diary! Going to stick with it until I am debt free; afterall it is simply a repayment of 170 x £100.

I hope you all had a good festive holiday and are getting your teeth stuck into whatever DF battle you have up your sleeves for 2012?!

So, it's Friday again and I have updated my signature to show todays repayment to OH. I was thinking about these repayments last night, and I think it's going to bug me until it reads under 90 payments to go (weird really, but thats just me!)

I have also recorded my Q.co earnings for 2011 and started a new count for 2012.

Today I printed off the CC statement thats due by the 12th. This has all the Christmas shopping on it up until Christmas Eve. GULP! I am hoping that I have set aside enough to cover my share.... I know I bought everything as economically as possible and I am pretty sure I did not pay full price for one single present. We will see! :o

I will make a 'hit list' for things that I need / have / want to do or achieve in January shortly and will post it up to try and make myself accountable.

Sooo excited I need to share......

Remember those big black clompy boots I posted a pic of a while back? Well, I am now the proud owner-to-be-please-hurry-up-and-deliver-them of these (which are like their sister!)

Courtesey of OH as part of my christmas present - been delayed as neither of us could find a pair I liked. AND they were in the sale and I got an extra £20 off using a 'supposedly' expired code!!!

    Happy Happy Happy Nat! x

congratulations on the new members of your family, and getting them at a great price.
won't be long till you get to 90 payments or less, i can understand why that seems like a progress milestone. I still remember you being here when even after months you hadn't actually made any progress despite all your best efforts. I know it's boring abut at least it's going down and at an amazing rate.

My boots have just been delivered (to work - couldn't bear the thought of having to wait until I got home!) and what else can I say except............"they are bootiful!"

On the money side, I forgot to report in that I earned £2.07 interest on my esavers account that I use to put aside money for repaying the CC!! YAY - go me!! lol x

  • OK I need loan for new boiler/central heating (all new pipes and everything as my lovely old home is falling apart- then I also need to finally fix the wall which I think I have mentioned a few times).

On a more positive note I am expecting a payout in May that should mean I can repay the loan then.

So I am going to update my signature once I sort it all out ;)
I have to factor in fun money too you know.

My oldest friend's (as in how long we have been mates not chronologically) Mother has just died unexpectedly and I'm so very sad, so having money for fun times is important to me right now.

Boots are really nice (especially considering your normal taste in foot coverings) I have similar...... you may be turning into me- you'll be in neoprene soon :)

WOAH!!!! Me and neoprene is a definite NO!! lol (not unless they do something like those 'bandage' style dresses that pull you in and make you look amazing!lol)

Sorry to hear about your friends Mother :(. Taking time (and some pennies) to have some fun is definitely a good idea (although don't forget it can be done with vouchers etc! ;) I feel like I have MSE running through my veins now!)

Its great that the loan is being used for goold old practical things - if it had been for sending you off scubaring around the world, then I may have had some choice words! lol. And being able to pay it off around May, makes it no different really to putting it on a CC.

Look forward to seeing your signature being updated - in the meantime, I will continue to hound you into writing something (either here or on your diary) every now and then!

    Keep smiling lovey! x
