Yay to £3k when you think about your first couple of years here taking the loan from your OH was the best decision you made.

Ooops! Apologies folks - Friday went past in a bit of a blur (busy working!) and now I find myself at Monday with no update!!
So? What news do I have? Not a lot to be truthful! Have started my stint of house-sitting, just over three weeks in total... but apart from 2 slighly odd cats, its a doddle, and really close to work - so a definite bonus! (oh and the hot-tubs not bad either!) I will be getting a 'reimbursement for my living expenditure' when they get back from holiday!!!!
Oooh, yeah!!! A little while ago I signed up to an online bingo site (run by a radio network!) - simply because it was deposit and spend £10 and get £15 in cashback. Well, I wasn't particularly lucky with my investment, but the thought of getting a fiver for nothing was good enough for me - popped home one evening last week to see OH and opened my post. Apparently I had been entered into a prize draw or something similar for opening the new bingo site and I had won £100.00 ;and here is your cheque!!' Happy days! OH is paying that into my bank for me today!
HAVE RE-PAID OH £3,000.00!!! :j (looking forward to the next milestone that I have invented of 20% re-paid - just 4 paydays to go for that one!!)
Need to sort out the CC statement, but all my log-on details are at home and I am not!
Need to do a meter reading - but the meters are at home and I am not!
Wednesday is my Friday this week and OH and I are away for 2 days.... track-driving afternoon and then my indoor sky-dive the following morning!
Right, thats it from me for now! Hope you are all well?

winning £100 is fab especially when you didn't expect to win anything.
Yay to paying off £3k that's fab! won't be long till you make the next milestone.
Enjoy your indoor sky dive.0 -
Have you missed me?
Is it bad that I have just had to read back over my last post to see what I was upto last time I wrote? Oops.
Well, here is my summary....- House-sitting all over and done with - 3 weeks is a bit on the long side for my liking, but it's done. Still waiting for my 'living expenditure reimbursement' to come my way, but dropped a huge hint yesterday, so it should be heading my way soon.
- Track driving day and indoor sky-dive were both fab!
- I managed to recover my initial £10 investment in the bingo site, which I withdrew; just waiting for the cashack of £15 to be paid!!
- There is a chance that I reach my 20% repaid target today, just need to count up the weeks to double check!
- Went away for a short break to Great Yarmouth last week - was good, but I still don't think you can call it a holiday unless you get on a plane and it is about 30' the other end!!
- Submitted meter readings - was still in credit after they deducted the bill, so looking good for the winter!! YAY!
- There is another CC bill lurking somewere.... tht is a job for a Monday! lol
- A few dribs and drabs have been paid by Q.co - nothing huge worth mentioning (some of the cashbacks have taken MONTHS to come through!)
- Major house de-clutter started last night. We only have a relatively small 2 bedroom house and it is amazing how quickly the place fills up with (let me be kind and call it) clutter. It doesn't help that the 2 males of the house cannot put stuff back where it belongs / where it came from. So last night saw the beginning; full steam for about 2.5 hours, loads achieved (even if some parts of other rooms now look worse!!) I have designated one box for things to be kept for a boot fair, but as the season is almost over and we haven't managed to stall out at a single one this year, I can see that getting chairty shopped at some point too.
- Poker has been going quite well - a couple of wins, which is always nice!
- Probably spent too much money whilst my bestest friend was home from America for 10 days - but I haven't seen her for a year, and probably wont see her for another 18 months, so I will just suck it up and make adjustments to cover it (somehow!!)
Oh, the garden is a right mess - we must have about 20T of tomatoes that I just know are going to go red all at the same time! That'll be fun!
Right, I need to do some work - catch you later!! xxx Nats xxxstart = Wed 19th Nov 2008 £21,225
