Ah, but I don't have cankles - infact I am the proud owner of rather dainty ankles! Possibly the reason why they have been sprained so many times!! I hasten to add, that when I have sprained my ankles, on every occaison I have actually been wearing sensible, mid-height shoes with sturdy heels or indeed twice, I was wearing my work boots which are totally flat!!!start = Wed 19th Nov 2008 £21,225

IIIITTTTSSSSS FRIIIIIIIIIIDAAAAAAAAY!
Sorry, but it is - it's one of those un-written rules that means it appears every 7 days, slap-bang in between Thursday and Saturday!!
So, what do I know? To be perfectly honest this week has been pretty horrendous on a general life level, but money has been ok. I had to withdraw an extra £10 to get me through, but I still have about £4.odd of this left, so not too disappointed.
So, update time, in no particular order....- Online banking checked and money where it should be!
- Have started the ball rolling on reclaiming OH's ppi. One store card and one CC will be getting credit agreement requests shortly. They are all printed, but I think I will have to physically put a pen in OHs' hand to get them signed.
- Q.co - kinda gone by the by this week - 4p/day hasn't really featured high enough up my list of priorities to bother doing it!
- Car is booked into the garage for Monday morning for them to upload some new software to fix the clock problem.
- Really need to get some bits on ebay. I have some lovely Coast items, but need to get my a*se in gear and get them dry-cleaned before listing to make sure they make as much as possible!
(coz I know you are all still really interested!)
7 x carrots
loads x radishes
14 x onions
5 x potatoes, now recovered several times and growing like mad!!!
2 x tomatoes - now have tomatoes on the plants that are plumping up nicely!!
0 x runner beans.... gave up on mine and my lovely mummy is starting some more for me!
1 x parsley plant. Still alive!!
Spicey salad leaves planted last weekend have started to grow, so home-grown salad to follow shortly!
And, I think that is about it for now! Going to plough on with some work now and try and keep 'that Friday feeling' at bay for a bit longer!

Hi Peeps!
Yep, this is a bonus Monday update - simply for the reason that as a Monday it has been pretty ok, and to be honest about a 98% improvement on last Monday!!!
OH has a problem with his heart whereby every now and then it gets a bit carried away with itself and starts a new rhythm all of its own. Not fantastic as it tends not to be a regular beat either (AF). This happened last Sunday night / Monday morning when OH was asleep. Luckily he decided to listen to his body as he was feeling rough when he woke up and took himself off to the hospital (although not until lunchtime - no rush obviusly!) He was admitted until Tuesday afternoon when he had recovered from his 'jump-start' (think de-fib - like the crash team to in A&E.. Charge - stand clear!!!)
It's the third time he's had this procedure done, so between us we tend to almost laugh it off as if 'its just one of those things that happens!' But after a chat on Friday, we discussed how it made each of us feel. OH goes into "don't want to trouble anyone, its not a big deal, I am alright here in hospital on my own mode" when actually he is a little scared and wants me around. And then there's me "feeling rejected as he doesn't want me at the hospital and when I am there I put on a brave face and carry on as if its just routine". Both a bit daft really! But he's ok now, just need to factor in some early nights to make sure he is not over tired and try and persuede him to start swimming again!
Car went into the garage today for them to have a look at the clocks and sort out the exhaust rattle. Rattle is fixed, but apparently my car has the wrong software for the clock, so they have ordered the correct software and it will have to go back in later in the week to have that uploaded!!
Won £24 at poker last night, so have a little more in my purse than usual for this time on a Monday. Happy days!!!
Thats it for me, for now! x x x

Hi honey, sorry your other half has ticker problems - will they insert a little box to jump start it when it needs it?
Tell him I'll meet him at the pool tomorrow, he knows it makes sense.

Sorry to hear bout your OH, but glad he is feeling better. I remember as a student nurse getting to assist a doctor (very hunky as I recall) in shocking someone who was the same. I did the whole casualty/holby city act of shouting all clear and got laughed at!!! Looked down and realised it's not like on the tv where they pratically jump on the chest with what looks like 2 irons but a simple a machine that does it for them now! Such a let down (and yep I got the mickey taken out of me the rest of the placement)December 2018: £20,850.24. Now: £18,333.02 Total paid in 2019: £2517.22

Blimey - I'm posting again and it's only Tuesday!
OBNW - no, no little box unless he starts going out of rhythm really quickly. All the time it lasts months or years (about 5 since his last one) then they will just jump-start him as and when he needs it. If he notices it has gone wonky and gets himself to hospital within 12 hours they can do it as an emergency case - any longer than that and it then needs to be scheduled. Thanks for the swimming offer, but I would like his ticker to stay in rhythm - and I'm not sure it would after seeing you in all your gorgeousness!
RAGS - yeah, it is all controlled by the machine nowadays. They just connect him up, tell the machine what it needs to charge to and then leave it to it! I thas been known to take 3 attempts and the maximum charge the machine can deliver to sort him out - so this time was a roaring success!
Thats about it for now! Slightly behind with work this morning as I managefd to come to work with OH's car and house keys in my bag, so I had to make a little trip home to drop them off (and have a quick coffee, would have been rude not too!)
Off to the gym tonight! Didn't go at all last week so I will be shattered this evening! I will win the battle to tone my thighs!!!start = Wed 19th Nov 2008 £21,225
