  • Well said cestlavie!

I wasn't going to post any more on this thread and just let folk get on with it.
.... but I thought I would add any interesting little twist on this competition.

I told my friend a work about it and he just could not resist giving it a try.

He bought a couple of bags and unsurprisingly did not win but then being a bit more cunning than perhaps Opia are he studied the codes and realised there was nothing really that clever about them. He could take guesses at a few more codes. He submitted those and the system accepted them ( though again he still did not win).
The last time I saw him was yesterday and he had used up his daily entry allotment. However I would not be surprised if he carries on doing that and eventually gets a win from a guessed code.

How many other people are going to be doing that? The codes are not cleverly produced like the Magnum competition was.

Quite frankly if this competition turns into a farce because of people guessing the codes then I think Opia have brought it on themselves.

Just phoned a friend who knows how to guess them.

Apparently you may be looking at the wrong best before panels. It is not the ones on the little individual bags. It is the big multi-bag you should be looking at.

Here are some examples of codes that have already been used:

    A000020505

    C000011658

    E000020637

    - You get the drift

I can only see in the T&C's that you only have to send in your till receipt as proof of purchase not the pack!!!! I bought a multipack yesterday and the grandchildren have taken them. I've only got the till receipt :(:(:( So I guess I can't enter the code now :(
  • well happy days i got this email back

    Thank you for your reply.

We can confirm that players in Northern Ireland will not be required to send in proof of purchase.

We will issue your prize via cheque within 28 days.

    Wongratulations!
