18lbs over 4 months is abosolutely nothing to be upset over - it is a fab weight loss! If you lose a similar amount over the next 4 months, you will be at your goal weight before Summer - nowt wrong with that in my book!!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. 18lb- well done. I've bought one of those little stepper machines (second hand of course!!) Managed to convince myself that I'm not losing weight cos I'm building muscle, but it may be more to do with the fact that I reward my efforts on it with chocolate

I wouldn't mind loosing 18lb or gaining £18. You've done well - and making me think is it worth having a bash myself.
Hmm...on reflection, it just won't happen at the minute, I'm afraid. Need things to change first.
Anyway, how was your day? Please call me 'Pickle'

My day was good Pickle, primarily because it is Friday!
Yes I am pleased with weight loss, I could have tried harder some weeks but I have to say it hasn't been a tremendous chore which is good because weight watchers is all about changing eating habits as opposed to dramatic weight loss. And as Hypno says, by the summer I will be less flabby and just fabby!!LBM Feb 2010 £62,700 Total Debt Jan 11 [STRIKE]£49,403.84[/STRIKE] £47,530.32.

I think if you try to be stupidly strict then you just rebel and shout 'Gimme the chocolate!', so perhaps a little less strict is the way.
And I know what you mean about Friday!
