Bought 20 cans of Fosters from Asda for £9.98. Great value. HAd to pay a bit for car parking, but its expenses, so I get it back. Aslo bought the John Peel biog from a charity shop in hardback for £3.00. Pretty good value, and the guy nearly gsve me too much change. It was in the British Heart Foundation, so I pointed out the error, but if it was IKEA....."Don't critisise what people look like, how they speak, where they are from, and what they are called. £1.60 on a Bacon roll & some milk - was left little option when I went to the bread bin to discover the bloody mice had got in and eaten my bread.
Any tips on how to get rid of mice would be appreciated! The flat is immaculate so don't know why they keep coming back!!Lightbulb moment June 06 Total Debt. £16665.06

Oh dear, sounds like you have a problemHow do you feel about mousetraps?
Btw, I don't think it's a case of cleanliness, they've just found a way in and food to munch on.Leason learnt :beer:0 -
No I can't cope with the mouse trap thing. My OH was using them before he headed off on tour and caught one. But I'm to screamish!
We live in an old tenement flat so always going to be a problem - had been using these high pitched signal things that worked for a long time - alas no longer. Need to try and make sure they can't get into anything and hopefully they will go else where!Lightbulb moment June 06 Total Debt. £16665.06

angelite wrote:Hi everyone, I've just spent another £6.65 on a prescription for my eye, yep its no better. I also spent £8.35 on some basic shopping at the local shop as I'm unable to go to Mr T's in this state, but I suppose that would come out of my grocery budget, I think. Great news Imelda about the cash back, its excellent when you get something unexpected like that x
Hey angelite, I am sorry you are not better yetHope it improves soon and you take it easy until then :grouphug:
