  • Today I have spent £2.30 on enough bits and bobs to make birthday cards for 12 people -hurrah! That works out at 19p a card. Then I spent £6 on fruit and veg at the market, got apples, cooking apples (crumble in the oven as I type...mmmm), pomegranates, leeks, onions, courgettes, carrots, potatoes, cauli, broccoli, cabbage, bananas, kiwi and a huge pineapple. What a bargain :-) So that's £8.30 today. Tomorrow I have a hair appointment though, which will blow the budget for the month.....*sigh*

Spent £6 on toiletries at lunchtime - god I love Wilkos!

Then went to the bakery and bought myself and colleagues some biscuits (£1.50 but we all needed cheering up)

Also earned myself £10 doing a mystery shop over lunchtime so dont feel too bad.

Trying hard to batten down the hatches ready for redundancy but its easier said than done.
